  • Abhimanyu Puranik (2437) had made a great start at World Blitz 2021. He drew with Nakamura, defeated Aronian and Giri. He was on 5.5/7 when he faced Daniil Dubov (RUS, 2749) in Round 8. The game liquidated to a Rook vs Bishop endgame. Who took things too far and missed an opportunity to draw the game? Also try to find out who missed a few winning chances in the final moments before figuring out and executing the same.

At the last moves, Dubov played Kg3 and Puranik played Kb8. Then Rg4 win!!! The game continued Kh4 ... Kg5 ... Kf6 ... and Puranik stopped the clock. Dubov didn't´t stopped of thinking.
