I went last week. Reached virupaksh temple at lunch time. There was no place to offer ready lunch. You have to order lunch then they will start preparing it only for you. And that will take minimum 40 minutes. Lot of our time got wasted due to this....

Virupaksha Temple was not built under Vijayanagar Empire and it is still a place of active worship . Also, i guess you are not covering some well known monuments of Hampi but I can understand the time constraint..overall a good vibe but please do proper research , thanks 🙏

A small correction. That Hanuman temple is not yantroddharak, it's anjanadri hill. Yantroddharak temple is in hampi near virupaksha temple which is situated by Sree Vyasarajaru.

Hi Anushree, I visited Hampi in April which is actually off season. Best time to visit is between October - Feb/ March & even June/ July

3-day Hampi itinerary can easily be done under 4k.
You can save your commuting expenses by staying near Virupaksha temple. Plenty good and budget-friendly options there. Sanapur lake is bit far.
Couldn't comprehend choosing Anjanadri hill on first day when you say, first day will be light. 🙄
