It is roughly 2010, herb is still illegal
You just got out of DARE class and the show is in town. You got a bus pass and permission to stay out. You got a 20 and mom gave you another 20 for food emergencies. The dutchie is passed to you. And magic is still real, and everything is sparkly. With a swift breath you are whirled and the next thing you know you're there. Around mid video yelling "You know by nooow" I wish this scene of music had been more accessible to me at that age. None the less, thank you CZcams person who posted this. It's a sheer delight. Time machines do exist but they run on imagination and memories.

Conor and Jeff Tweedy have been great for 20 years now and still don't get the respect they deserve.i have seen them both many times and there is not much competition out there.people today don't appreciate true artists.what passes for music today is mostly a joke

Yeah, something about this one reminds me of the iconic status of the Greatful Dead's live performances, where their fans obsess over and pick sides on the 'best' performances. There are quite a few recorded CO/BE performances that are just legendary, as you said.
Sometimes I think technology and record-keeping are more harmful than they are good... but I'm so thankful for these recordings.
As for not seeing them anymore, MVB played a few shows not too long ago, and I have a feeling we'll see them again, or at least I hope so. Crazy how much variety we get as fans. Bright Eyes, solo stuff, MVB, Desaparecidos, Better Oblivion Community Center, and the various tours which have their own iconic sounds from the feature (Dawes, Miwi La Lupa, First Aid Kit, M Ward, Phoebe Bridgers, I could go on).
Not to mention the collabs. I still love 'Breakfast in Bed' with Dntel and the 'Handle With Care' cover from Jenny Lewis with the Watson Twins. 'Would You Rather' with Phoebe also comes to mind.
