Dude, thank you so freaking much for this video because those components are nearly the same I have now and I was really strugglign with the fan assembly planning. I wasnt expecting a whole walkthrough of assembly but im glad you did provide one since this will be my first PC. Thank you, you absolute godsend
I’m so glad that you have a build video for both the pcs I’m making. Helps out a ton honestly
Love your walkthroughs, and, let's be honest: that montage song at the end was👌🏼absolutely stellar!
Awesome breakdown of this case and straight to the point. Couldn't find a better video, thanks! Bought a white case and currently following your guide for my build. I subscribed.
Thanks for all the time and effort you spent putting together this video, I found it extremely useful.
Excellent video. Great job explaining everything. Thank you.
Thanks man very helpful! Great camera and editing skills, bravo!! Just build mine thanks to you!
from when I saw this first peek of this case I wanted it, even though I had just purchased the NV7 - and a combination of the superbness of the NV7 and the slow time that Lian-Li took to get the Vision to market cooled my eagerness to 'meh, I like what I have' - after seeing your informative review I am going to swerve it - thanks as always Chris
Have a feeling the designers of this case watched this, and went.. wow.. I didn't even know you could do that, lol. You missed nothing and gave every bit of info one could ever want on how to assemble this case. Well done. Please be so kind as to consider doing this for the Lian LI RGB when it comes out. That is the case I really want and to know every single detail of it, like I do now of the Vision, would be wornderful. Well done.
Gorgeous and cheap case, thank you for the review !
No problem 👍
Building in the 011 Vision Chrome this week, nice breakdown. Got a sub from me
Really is a beautiful looking case, I currently have an 011 Evo so think I'd miss the extra space up top for my 360 rad tbh.
Wish Lian Li would make a seamless glass front and side panel for the Evo, I'd buy that in a heartbeat, maybe the next gen 011's will have that. Great video as always 👍
Fantastic video
Awesome thanks.
This case has so much for only 130 quid it’s mad lian li are killing it
A beautiful case!
Sure is
Am watching you from Algeria 🇩🇿
Welcome
Do you think that air cooling would work in this case? I'm worried due to lack of top fans.
What electronic screw driver are you using here? I looked through the description but didn't see it or missed it.
I didnt seem to receive the cable that you used for the aio L connect, i had to use the single one for the motherboard, do you know where i can buy just the cable from?
I would like to know what is the torque specs for the pump on the cpu because i heard that if you tight them too much it's not good and it can bend pins on the motherboard for the cpu. Like how much turn you need to do? Until it stops?
I have a question, can the hub that comes with the lian li aio be used instead of the one that comes from the 3 pack, I plan to use the reverse blade fans for intake on the bottom and on the radiator and use 2 of the radiator fans as exhaust in the back. The reverse blade fans do not come with the controller is why i ask. I plan to use the Galahad ll trinity sl-inf as well as 3 reverse blade 120's on the radiator as intake and 3 reverse blade 140's on the bottom as intake.
What kind of extended screws/bolts should be used for the push/pull configuration? Can those be found on Amazon?
Brother. Can you suggest fan rpm settings for low profile? I have push/pull side radiator, 2 back exhaust and 3 intake bottom.
What do you do with the parts you don't need anymore from all these builds Chris? Tried emailing to ask if you sell them or how one might acquire parts from you. Trying to put a new machine together. Based in Wicklow. Wondering if you've a store somewhere perhaps online even like Adverts?
- air flow in your build . 3 140mm intake 1 360mm aio exhaust and 1 120mm exhaust would be good
Another nice case, and install. But, did the GPU support bracket come with the GPU?
comes with the case
que monstruosidad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How is the air flow? I'd like to set something like this.
Can you vertical mount the GPU with two fans on the back?
this guy's hairstyle is so iphone 14.
Oh Yeah!!!!! What a vision. 😂
what did you use to sync the lights?
please help me do you like this or the tuf 502????
Thanks for putting this video up! I do have a question or two. Is that the Fanttik S1 Pro screwdriver you're using? And from what I know the setting 1 is 1.5nm of torque. Is that not too much for tightening screws especially on motherboards(PCB) etc?
You did well. Might as well remove those 2 exhaust fans.. You have 9 in and 2 out. Those 2 are just in the way for cfm. The case is pretty.. but... not good for flow.
@ChristopherFlannigan what electric screwdriver are you using in this video?
Idk the exact name but google HOTO electric screwdriver
@ChristopherFlannigan will 37mm screws work for the push/pull aio mount?
Never mind, I rewatched your video and was able to hear you say you used 36mm, so 37mm should be fine.
Any idea where to get longer screws for the push/pull on the radiator ?
You'd think they would be included considering Lian Li recommends push/pull.
did you get an answer to this because i'm in the same situation
I got a Gigabyte Aorus Master X and, naturally, it doesn’t have a middle screw hole so I can’t mount the GPU bracket.
Shouldn't the radiator where the tubes connect be at an orientation higher than the pump?
Yes it should
Thank you!!!! I noticed it, and it was driving me nuts.... also that way the tubes also wont be pushing down on the GPU which also drove me crazy.
@@ceefok Is this some kind of bearenstein/stain situation where people are misremembering it exactly wrong? It should be tubes connecting at the bottom, pump not the highest point. This prevents air bubbles being sucked into the pump. He did it right in this video.
@@ceefokincorrect. What he did in the video is right. The pump has to be lower than the top of the radiator, not the tubes itself. So the air rises to the top of the rad which is what it is meant for. If you put the tubes up like you said, the air will rise to where the tubes are, causing air gurgling sounds everynow and then.
How much was this guild build
34:34 Whatch out 24pin conector
doesn't the Lian Li fans spin in reverse? Did you actualy have to install them backwards?
Should be other way round I thought
It’s better this way for the airflow I believe. But he could buy the ‘reversed’ unifans for the style.
Not a big deal but I think the AIO orientation is a bit odd. Also I would have moved the motherboard tray up and use one fan. The extra fan does not help much and the aesthetic would be way better.
I was looking into this case but if thats the only way to mount the aio then i guess ill keep looking
@@bradysmith5944 Most builds put the radiator on the back. Both the bottom and the back are used for cold air intake, so it makes no sense to put it on the bottom, especially since you will be able to have your pump in the right orientation (in the current layout, it could suck in air bubbles with could damage the pump over time).
Should the side fans be facing in cos its uni fans?
No it’s better this way for the airflow but he could buy Lian li Unifan « reversed » for a better style 😅
This way of mounting radiator - will it not affect lifetime of pump?
No as the air bubbles will be at the highest point which is the top of the Rad
This is bad form. I wouldn't recommend it
It’s good like that. Best mounting position
@@fisher_pricethe air will rise up to the top of the rad, not at the pump since the pump is lower than the top of the rad
Is there value in keeping the ga 2 performance fans?
Very nice build, but I think I prefer the EVO XL, which I bought recently.... Thanks.
Fair enough!
@@ChristopherFlannigan Just FYI I bought the new EVO XL after I saw your review of it - and build!
Hm is the build?
Dat is thicc!
Anyone know when this case is due to be released?
out now for sure
Can someone please explain to me why was the AIO mounted this way when he had both options in terms of orientation. (Which orientation is better if i have both options)
I think it’s a mistake. According to me the pump must be below the level of the radiator inlet.
The air in the pump (1-5% nominal) rises above the water to the highest available path. If there is air in the pump it will not move the water through the radiator as efficiently. However, the radiator in this video rises above the level of the pump, so, the air should naturally follow the path to the top fan-section of the radiator. The mistake of mounting the AIO incorrectly is more common in 240mm and 280mm configurations where the radiator is smaller and often the motherboard seating is higher in the case.
That’s generally why, as a rule of thumb, ensuring the hosing is mounted above the pump can help keep you from making that mistake.
@@ErtanPowaincorrect. What he did in the video is right. The pump has to be lower than the top of the radiator, not the tubes itself. So the air rises to the top of the rad which is what it is meant for. If you put the tubes up like you said, the air will rise to where the tubes are, causing air gurgling sounds everynow and then.
nice case....
It sure is!
16:50 What did you say?
This is 3 intake and 5 exhaust?
6 intake 2 exhaust
I start regretting buying the O11 Dynamic Evo...
First one
👍
So... I don't have this extra 36mm screw to change the fans on my aio like you? How is this a step by step guide man. I'll be stuck at this point lol without the magic screws you pulled out your backside.
This is only an issue with a push/pull config, but yes, I also just ordered some 35 mm ones.
How many fans did you have to buy
7 is enough 👍
8 if you use bottom orientation, 7 if you use top. You do not get any with the case, which makes this actually deceptively expensive.
With out the top fans is a bit concerning for me...... well see for now
Looks over cooling, but perfect if this is most important to you
Poosh tha kabel unto the caase unto the spaace right unto plaace.
6 intakes and 2 exhausts. Is that even good?
Yes, positive air pressure - look up the benefits
flip around the radiator to have the tubes on the upper side instead of being in the way of the gpu for the love of christ
@@zanealestairsobejana8011 no
incorrect. What he did in the video is right. The pump has to be lower than the top of the radiator, not the tubes itself. So the air rises to the top of the rad which is what it is meant for. @@zanealestairsobejana8011 "every now and then" bubbles of air in the radiator rarely happen and theyre only created with the years of use, wrong
@@wtfurlookingat1514 i’m referring to the experiment done by gamer nexus. Years of use does not cause gurgling sound but the pocket of air that get sucked into the pump
why mount the AIO like this.. you do know the fundamentals of AIO placement right???
You should never mount the AIO like that the pump head should always be lower than the tubes going into the radiator other wise you can create airlocks !!
for people building their first pc not a good look !!
Bro really telling someone that has built hundreds of pcs, what's better and what's not 😂😂
You get them. Even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise; when he closes his lips, he is deemed intelligent.
@@alejandrosilva9683 maybe watch like every other tech channel like gamer nexus and jays two cents on how to mount AIO's correctly and tell me im wrong..
then explain to this person the fundamentals of how to mount a AIO correctly who has been building literally thousands of PC and see how he does this one wrong !!
@@ChristopherFlannigan you think im rude or a fool so be it ..
But people who follow you and see that and build it the same way and have issues who is going to look like the real fool you or me who just wants to pull you up on a obvious mistake!!
Well there’s nothing wrong with installing the AIO like that. I prefer rotating it 180 degree though, for better aesthetic. Also, calling someone less than a fool is rude bro. He was just pointing out something he didn’t understand. Instead of educating him, you went the childish route. Being a CZcamsr and all you should always try to educate people even when you have to repeat yourself 1000 times.
Why would ANYONE combine a i9 14900k with a 4070?!?! Also a f...ing 1200W PSU for freakin 4070?!?! Absolute Overkill
just demo for the liali new release case, not a specific pc
Dude you have 9 fans pulling air into the case including 3 sucking hot air thru the Radiator, and only 2 exhausts? Is this computer gonna be sitting in a 55 degree room? The bottom is right sucking in but the Top needs to exhaust that will create a stream going from the bottom up thru the case, and the side 3 and back 2 should also be exhausting. People do not do what he did here you will be creating a windstorm inside the case that will overheat your components. WOW
Dummy there isn’t any top fans in this case at all. Maybe you need to go to eye dr and check for blindness.
😂
are the fans behind the radiator exhaust ?
Intake
