The intro typewriter.. in my kinetic mind I was working out how the typing aiming would work.
Have a sturdy swing-case 80s electric typewriter that needs this. and ribbon. Gravity+Text

9:59 The camera shot of your watch during the time lapse was a nice touch!

Yes. I spotted that in the edit. May have to regularly include some future lingering watch action.

Yes Bill. It’s looking much more complete now. I’m liking the track progress.

This was an interesting vid by you. Showed a lot of progress in very little play time although obviously a lot of work on your part. However, I think I like the traditional commentary where you document the success and struggles you encounter along the way. Still very interesting and I appreciate it.

Hi Bob, thanks for the comment. Back to normal talking next time. Occasionally I am lost for words and just let the images do the talking. 😃

I have tried to make a track and you make it look simple. The problem I am having, making the outside track for eg. Now making the same shape but the inside track . Getting them to match in distance apart relative to the bend. I am also using a jig, but getting those bends in the correct place is hard. Any tips

As with all hobbies, my best advice is to practice practice practice. And buy lots of wire. And be prepared to keep starting again when it messes up.

Another hit, great video. Your radius bending fixture is very handy. What the diameter on the fixture. Thx

Great work, you make it look way easier than it actually is. Quick question, how are you fixing the vertical structure wires to the wooden base ? Can you suggest a good way to do it ?

Thanks Anthony. I drill a 1.9mm hole and then press the 2.0mm wire into it. It’s an interference for and holds fast. I measure how deep I drill and make sure the wire goes right into the bottom.

Yes. Laser cut MDF, some glue and some paint!

Also, you are getting quite a bit fancier with the intro! 👌
