“Is VAR really helping football?”
Proceeds to show a clip of a Portugal game that didn’t have VAR
Same thing with the first one
"Portugal" game 🇷🇸
I am Serbian and it was goal.
Lol 😂😂 it was to good to be a goal tbh insane save
Vous avez vu de l’arrêt de fou en vrai mais en vrai de vrai il a arrêté quand même, mais il a marqué quand même aller but
This ain't var, it's goal line tecnology and is really accurate
Just like the nba and NFL with obvious miscalls, obvious goals thanks to tech still they not calling em
Actually the one between Chivas and other Mexican club was nullified for the VAR and it was goal clearly (and the line technology marked goal)
900th like!
really accurate are you special?
the dont have hawk eye and use VAR, even in LaLiga the do it this way
For those who dont know, in order for the ball to enter another field like an out or a goal, the ball from the upper view should enter all the way from the white line. On the side view it may look like it entered but on the top view it didnt
Yeah but the last 2 were goals cos they went past rhe line, right?
@@rumashahinaakther6868the second to last one no because a hair worth of ball wasn’t over and the last one no cause they didn’t have var in the game
It doesn't matter what the view is... If it goes fully over the line it's a goal, if it doesn't (even by a fraction of a cm) then it isn't.
@@speters17, the view matter because from the side it may look like a goal, but from the upper view it is clearly not a goal
@@bolatkanm But it's the same from the top or the side. The posts and the bar are the same width. If you drew a diagram of it it'd be identical. ==O== from the top and the same but flipped 90° from the side.
How I love the blind judge as much as the hand reaches for the frame
2 clips didn't have VAR in use, pure fucking genius

One had GLT tho
And it's the goal line technology not var

I am serbian and i am soo happy for that goal because i am proudly saying serbia is the most unlucky country in football
The problem is not VAR, the problem are the referees that control it
Imagine blaming on CCTV. Football fans are dumb
Jesus people are dumb. VAR isn't an it. VAR is a person. The VAR is a referee, not a computer. It's a referee sat in a room with screens. The VAR is the problem because the VAR is the person making the decisions. However, it's not actually a problem, as someone who's researched correct decisions and errors per game from pre VAR to current state VAR, VAR has improved the quantity of correct decisions by over 200% across the board. The premier league has increased quantity of correct decisions by about 400%. The VAR is just an evolving concept that will always make the odd mistake because the VAR is human too.
How else are you suppose to use VAR? It can't spit out a decision for things like penalties. That's a refs judgement
The whole var System is easy to manipulate

Who ever did the edits is the reason why we need VAR.
Só piorou mas ainda com o var mesmo
Var is ruining football and run by clueless idiots
First one wasn't a goal but then the goalkeeper made an owngoal. Bro lost his neurons in that moment
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It would've been considered a deflection since the original shot was on target.
👍👍
@@muhammadryanelyeddari8631 No, it's considered an own goal since the ball had stopped and he literally pulled it into the goal.
@@LuisCastro-wd5uf It would be a deflection. This happens quite a lot with penalties but the goal still goes toward the penalty taker rather than being classified as an own goal.
The first one was “look is on the line” and then he pulls it back 😅😅
Damn the coach can't challenge the play 💯🤦🏾♂️
Literally in that game of Ronaldos goal there were no VAR and no goal line Technology. 💀😭
We got robbed that day
Talking about convenience that was a rigged game
No imagine ball is cube and it would still be touching line
No you look from side that is problem+ Ronaldo captain shit was sold for money and donated to charity
@@rashidazzan35 how tf was it rigged?
A rule in football says that as long as the CURVATURE of the ball doesn’t pass the line, it’s no goal, or no out. This pretty much means that any part of the ball that remains on the line is no goal or no out.
Also, 2 of these clips don’t use VAR
Good info. Thx
What is curvature
Well the last one the entire ball passed so it is a goal
@@miratrb1136 obviously cause it’s a ball the surface level on the floor is very small so instead of being like but the bottom of the ball crossed the line if u looked sky view at the football and the centre of the ball is across the line but the side of the ball is so ever slightly touching the white line it is no goal as the ball is still in “play”
that's why the first one is no goal
They made all the right calls except the last one🤣
if he crosses the line the goal is not counted, the same works with throw-in
Short answer is YES. VAR doesn't discriminate or show bias... its fair and gives refs a second look to be more accurate with their calls.
seen to often not using it in really difficult situations or, much worse, superclear situations not giving a penalty or opposite.
@@e30325ikiller yeah he’s right they slow down footage so if you do something on accident they think it on purpose. This can get players yellows or red cards

Top Blind People in the World:
1: Referees and VAR
Don’t blame var, it’s just there to help. It’s the ref that makes the final decision.
My favorite soccer quote of all time is “the camera angle lies” there’s no definitive proof that any of these could be changed based on the angle the camera was placed except the keeper where he clearly brought it in and had a perfectly sideways angle to prove it

With the first one VAR had nothing to do with it! Goalline technology it's called. The ball has a chip and when it crosses the line the referee's watch start to vibrate saying it's a goal. Still thanking goalie Jeroen Zoet for making this mistake.😂
Jeroen sweet
My feeling exactly.
VAR wasnt even used back then xd
Essa tecnologia só foi começada a ser usada na copa do mundo de 2022, antes não tinha chip nas bolas. Vc tá bem desinformado!
Actually the goal shouldn't count because the ref had already blown his whistle when the GK pulled the ball over the line.
1st clip was goal line technology, before the VAR was even implemented in regular play, this was a Dutch league game before the 2018 world cup. The Portugal clip didn’t have VAR either, or so I’ve read. And the second clip is also a matter of goal line technology doing its job

That made up a big part of football.

Corruption is ruining both our country and our football. 😢
Goal line technology had been a brilliant addition to football. Has worked almost flawlessly, with maybe 3 incorrect decisions in 10 years
And make an incorrect decision with cr7 goal
@@guizaoal898 yeah I'd included that in the 3 mistakes it's made. And I'm not even using 3 as a definite answer, could be 6 or 7 because I don't know everything about every game. Its still a lot better now than glaringly obvious goals that should have stood being wiped off, lampards England goal, the goal Roy Carroll 'saved a yard over the line' and that's just thinking of 2 at the top of my head.

Reality:
1) no goal
2) no goal
3) I think no goal but I'm not sure
As a Serb which we played against Portugal, i agree on this one it should have been a goal but the reason why it wasn't is because it's hard to determine the angle with no VAR and also because our player decided to save it, if he didn't went for it referee would say Goal, just bcz our player went for it was enough to call it off
