As a Dane we have built and lately expanded our Vacation Park in Mellieha, by the Beach, and I do wonder why they haven't got combined sockets in at least the last built houses??? With a few clicks it is easily able to buy those, and as most guests are Danish, I would find it a Service for the guests. Finn. Denmark
Hi and thank you for the nice comment 😊 In Malta, there are no specific rules on tipping since the workers are still getting paid their full salary. So it completely depends on how you would rate the service. If it was really bad, you don't have to tip at all. If it's great, then you can choose how generous you want to be. 😊
Hi Hi! :) I have followed your channel for a while, you guys really offer many unique and valuable information about living in Malta, thanks a lot. I wonder if you can make one episode about hospital & clinic & health insurance in the coming days? Some topics like "how to get treatment if you get sick", "which health insurance is better" etc, really appreciate that.
Hi, thank you very much for sticking around we appreciate it a lot! 😊 To be honest we luckily have not had much experience regarding the hospitals and clinics so it would be hard for us to give any information that would be accurate, but thanks for the suggestion! 😊
Good Morning Dudes! We bought our power adapters weeks before at Aliexpress + some single UK plugs to add them on an EU powerstrip (cutting off the old EU plug). So we can use all our EU stuff at once without using several single adapters. About taxies - we never had any problems with them (using Bolt). We call a taxi mostly to be in time for appointments. Because buses aren't really reliable in terms of timetables (and very often they even don't stop at the bus stop when they are full). Plants - I had to laugh: Our plant death rate is almost 100%. All bought at Lidl, only a few survived. Greetings!
Hey dude! Yes, with bolt you shouldn't have any problems as the prices are mostly prearranged, however the regular not marked taxis might have their ways to make you pay more for the same trip. And of course if you definitely must be on time then buses might not be your best bet 😅 Thanks for the comment and watching! Cheers!
Im maltese and dont agree with you regarding the restaurants prices Of course restaurants you visted in sliema, st julians are expensive but have you tried to eat in senglea or vittoriosa water front prices sure are different depends which one you choose
Hey you two, one question, are the buses that full, as they where before Corona? If i have a chance to get a seat, i would use them. Thx for your video. We are so exited, after 2 years, now it´s only one more week to Malta. First time we were on Gozo, we walked from the harbour to Victoria, totally crazy, but an experience.
Hi unfortunately yes they are just as full and sometimes even fuller ( as if that's possible) but of you can get a seat they are still a great way to get around the island. Good luck with your move here! 👍
@@WeAreHarvestingdreams Thanks for your answer amd wishes, not that what i wanted to hear, but we will take a look. Because of the seat, i have athrose so it´s sometimes hard to stand longer time.
@@WeAreHarvestingdreams re plants 1. opuntia (prickly pear) - fruit and young leaves are edible. check out youtube for how to cook the leaves 2. eve's needle cactus 3. bunny ears cactus 4. dragon fruit cactus - fruit is edible. gorgeous large flowers (at night only) 5. dracaena marginata 6. oleander (pink flowers) - all parts of the plant are highly POISONOUS 7. palm tree - European fan palm (Chamaerops humilis) 8 . weed - could be an asteracea

Glad it was helpful!
Good point with the shoes. Some of the streets in Valletta are quite polished and slippery. Some good grippy trainers are a good idea.
That's very true sometimes I keep slipping on the pavements because they are too polished 👍
Hello dude, 1st comment holder award 🤣🤣❤️❤️

This is awesome info, thank you both! How about tipping at restaurants or bars? How much is common? 10%? 20%?

Ok information, still a nice place to see. Hard to understand why just filming selfies here.
I think that's a Rododendron plant. They grow all over the islands.
Oleander
8th mistake. October 2021 will be sunny and hot 🤪
Haha so true, winter came earlier this year 😅🥶
