You can certainly paint tile floors! Make sure you use Zinsser Cover Stain (oil based) primer. It dries fast and you can use any paint over it. Top coat with Verathane water based top coat for floors. Cover stain or Zinsser bin are my go to primers. They stick to anything and they’re super durable.

I want to do this, but on the areas where you were told the floor is too thin to sand what did you do? I have wooden floor and would love to do this.
