A: I have been a US Military Rotary Wing Pilot for 5 years. I am a combat veteran that has deployed to both Iraq and Syria.

A: I tend to only play tactical shooters, but I will try anything once.
Task Force Exodus is a realism based Arma 3 military Simulation unit. TFE's roots are based in a relaxed community structure out of game but a realistic, extremely serious and mature play style in game. We accomplish this by treating TFE as a welcome-to-all gaming community where members can join and play a wide variety of games with their friends, while leaning heavily on our veteran ran community to simulate real military tactics, techniques, and procedures. If you are a participating member of TFE you are expected to maintain a 18+ maturity level and remain fully immersed in your role during detachment operations. At its core TFE is a US Military Special Operations Task Force which portrays elements from all Department of Defense Branches. The elements include units from AFSOC, RRC, NSW DEVGRU, MARSOC, JSOAC, US Army SF, and CIA MID elements. The Task Force spans across four days and has various "off-night" events in between detachment operations.

Are there manuals I can find online to learn the terminology and etiquette you're using on the radio?
100% also check out cas five line examples you can find them online, practice filling them out...... before I deployed I was nervous I'd fuck up if I ever had to call up cas or a nine line, so I drilled it into my brain lol
As someone getting into JTACing in Arma with my group could you tell me what mod you use for the compass and GPS that shows up on your HUD outside of the map?
it looks like they are using ace and some other compatible mods

Is there a manual or script for this communication process that I could look at?
Check out the 2019 JFIRE, as far as the procedures, most of this is what I’ve seen/heard while flying overseas
@@HeavyLGaming The latest JFIRE's has a lot of new stuff but I think its still FOUO. Video is decent but still pretty abbreviated, but I guess that makes sense if you come from a RW or fister background.
@@LtgRogerAirgood JFIRE can be downloaded through google nowadays same with the .3. Most of what we utilize is from the .3 or from comms I’ve heard flying in combat. We’ve got a couple other Pilots and a TACP in the group so we all try to stick to the JFIRE while keeping things simple for Arma.
