- For training purposes. 7th Cavalry Gaming unit.
(Real life 9 lines would read back lines 4 and 6, we have adjusted for gameplay purposes)
Referenced in the Talk on section, DMPI = "Desired mean point of impact"
We do not use this term in the 7Cav gaming regiment, but it basically means, dead nuts center of a target intended to be hit. - Hry
I've learned so much from you.
You're excellent at explaining.
Thank you for the kind words, I am a visual learner so I feel like these videos of helped me as much as other people.
@@Dave_ess iiiif you're ever on DCS and want a wingman that you'll have to teach some stuff at times please let me know.
I'm quite smart and not a kid.
@@vladchitoroaga250 Sure man, although i do play odd hours, usually after 9pm EST on weekdays. add me on Discord and feel free to send a ding when you see me playing @Walsh #9221
Dam how did I not see this until after I got out?! Lol
I wonder how many times you could say “ground beef” instead of “ground brief” without someone noticing.
Ground beef as follows…1 pound chuck shoulder - break - 1 tablespoon cumin, 2 tablespoon coriander seed, mince it - break -
Area is large, hot pan - break -
🤣😂

Only by the way i never in my life saw an A10 With hellfire 🤣 also would they say how many rounds on gun they have for mission. But everytime is the first time
Same procedure as rotary wing cas?
Can be utilized for rotary, however rotary will usually use a 5 line format, I have a couple videos showing the 5 line. czcams.com/video/VRnjkj377EE/video.html and czcams.com/video/HJHQEq4KxPU/video.html
@Dave S rotary uses both 5 and 9. Depends on the controller. A 9 line would come from a jtac but if we are supporting an army unit and it's just regular joe shmoe out there in some infantry company controlling me, he should be using the 5 line as that's more of a friendly centric utilized by the army.
Is this Dave from Williams Air Force in Chandler Az? If it is contact me. You will remember me...
Neg Sir, I am from Michigan. Been told I have a doppelganger though.
What does "EAST OF BULLS" refer to? Specifically 'BULLS'. Is that a town, or some other topographical feature?
Bulls refers to BULLSEYE, which is a known geographical point, (often a town, but could be anything) that you can use to reference other locations from, useful as it can brief multiple ships at once. you can ref this video for a little bit of a rudimentary explanation on it. czcams.com/video/VLO7JsBPI2U/video.html
@@Dave_ess Thanks
I don't think fixed wing would check-in with altitude in meters
I agree, Most likely an Altitude block as fragged or from handing off agency. This Video was part of a series I created for my Arma Clan, So i had to make some concessions to realism.(Arma uses metric altitudes, even in some US Jets) =, As the video has aged and I have learned more on the subject I see other flaws as well, I will likely re-record an updated version at some point.
@@Dave_ess What does as fragged mean?
@@MadDogGaming as fragged means “as Previously briefed” or “as planned” So long as there was no changes to the original brief or plan
@@Dave_ess You the man
