Sunnis, was Aisha six years old when she got married? ft.

  • Bukhari and Ibn Kahter both show that she wasn't six years old
A clear contradiction on the age of Aisha, but Sunnis like to hold on to the worst of what they have, despite it going against the Quran
In this two part Series we will:
    - Show the contradiction when it comes to Aisha's age
    - Show how 6 or 9 year old marriages are anti-Quranic.

When Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) used to enter (my dwelling place) they used to hide themselves, but the Prophet would call them to join and play with me. This is a good point .There are contradictions in the age of aisha simply because there was no accurate age tracking system back then. Some people say they used to count age after puberty so the marriage at 9 could be 19.She could have been married at a young 9 but she was also puber, tall, and physically able to be married according to sahih bukhari book 6 456 .Other hadiths mention her height was above Mohammed's shoulders.Regarding the asma age it is confirmed aisha was actually 10 years tounger than asma.It is based on some evdiences ,tafsirs, and logic. No sahih hadith mentions that.Either way us sunnis that follow quran firstly and sunnah from understanding of the salaf never said our prophet Mohammad pbuh is a pedophile. You might have married her at young age or at a normal age but wither way she was puber and not a child.Tje contradictions are not because the hadiths are false but because people are not sure of her age.The tellers are not lying. Also remember this is 1440 years ago so people developed a lot faster

However i am actually a little more concerned now because i always assumed that everyone meant the first period as reaching puberty. In my world, that's what reaching puberty for girls means. Our adulthood comes later... once our body have fully grown and developed. I live in the West and we give different legal ages for when we think most everyone will have fully grown 16-18 depending on where you live. So i am a little concerned that i was operating under a misconception when it came to Islam... The misconception that the first period was the sign of reaching puberty not just any small sign that a body was developing. I mean the body develops from conception .. i don't know what to do with this realization other than feel very much more disturbed than i was before

      1. They never menstrated and there is many girls that reached late in their years that never got a period
      2. Pregnant women
The age of marriage is based upon the ability to reproduce and to have a mature/sound mind

@@MuhammadfromGOD where in the Qu'ran does it state that the age of marriage is based on the ability to reproduce and having a sound mind? I'm aware the previous Scriptures offer this guidance, but without any Qu'ranic source stating the same, what is to stop others from misinterpreting the text to support their evil acts rather than understanding it simply refers to amenorrhoea? Especially with Sunni Islam being the mainstream branch of Islam, and their hadith regard the prophet's marriage of Aisha seemingly confirming the legitimacy of the plain reading of the text.
I'm glad to know my interpretation is wrong. I'm not a Muslim, I'm a Christian, but I'd rather be an atheist than follow any God that condoned and allowed paedophilia from his followers.

Is this truth and if so is there any more context? With respect and thank you for your time.

I will compare the ethical and moral example set by both Muhammad and Jesus.
    ANGER
We find the following words of Jesus recorded in Matthew 5:22, “I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment.” By his example, Jesus clarified what constituted the exception for anger, and what he meant when he allowed anger “for cause.” This exception is documented in Matthew 21:12-13 and Luke 19:45-46, where Jesus encountered those who sold sacrificial animals used for temple worship at a huge profit. These had essentially turned the house of worship into a profit center. In righteous indignation and anger, Jesus chased these profiteers out of the temple. Yet at other times, faced with mockery, ridicule, and derision, Jesus showed compassion and love toward those who scorned him (Luke 23:34). Jesus reacted to those who demonstrated hate toward him and ridiculed him with kindness and gentleness, and at times simply escaped from their presence to avoid further confrontation (John 8:59, 10:39).
In contrast, we find in the life of Muhammad numerous instances of anger, many of which resulted in physical violent actions carried out by the prophet of Islam. For a small sample of the many accounts of violent angry outbursts by Muhammad, consider the following:
A group of Jewish rabbis laughed and scoffed at Islam and the Muslims. Muhammad ordered them ejected from the mosque, whereupon some were dragged from the mosque by the hair on their heads and given a severe beating (3).
Muhammad ordered the killing of two girls, Fartana and her friend, for singing songs of a satirical nature about him (4).
Another young girl named Sara was mercilessly trampled to her death by a mounted soldier dispatched by Muhammad after she insulted him (5).
A woman named Asma bint Marwan was brutally murdered with Muhammad’s full knowledge, again for writing poetry deriding Muhammad. Muhammad solicited from among his men for someone to kill her, and one of his men volunteered. When told of the murder the following morning, Muhammad said “two goats will not butt their heads over her death.” This woman left five sons as orphans (6). According to other accounts of this same incident, the soldier who killed Asma first removed a suckling infant from her bosom before plunging his sword into her (7).
So while Jesus showed compassion even on those who mocked him, and even on those who nailed him to the cross, Muhammad personally ordered the cold-blooded murder of anyone who mocked or insulted him. Jesus sets the standard for humanity on how to deal with anger. The moral example of Jesus is superior to that of Muhammad.
    STEALING/THEFT
Jesus taught his disciples not only not to steal, which is prescribed by the Ten Commandments, but took the idea even further. He said, “If anyone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak also. Give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to borrow from you do not turn away” (Matt. 5:40, 42). Additionally, he taught the disciples, “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal. But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven … for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also (Matt. 6:19-21). Jesus did not seek earthly treasures or creature comforts. Indeed, while others had a place to call home, Jesus had “nowhere to lay his head” (Luke 9:58 ).
By way of contrast, consider the following actions by Muhammaed:
Muhammad caught word of a trade caravan from Syria coming to Mecca. He dispatched some of his followers to intercept the caravan to plunder its money and merchandise, saying “perhaps God will give it as a prey. (cool” The sole purpose of raiding the caravan was to steal property which was not his and distribute it to his followers to earn their loyalty.
Muhammad admitted to a certain woman that the material wealth, which we can assume was the result of similar caravan raids and the plundering of nearby tribes in war, was used to attract unbelievers to Islam (9).
In short, while Jesus taught his disciples not to steal, and indeed encouraged them to give those who ask even more than what they ask for, Muhammad endorsed unprovoked theft and plunder, encouraged his followers to do likewise, and used the stolen goods to gain political strength and influence. Surely we recognize that unbridled theft of one man against another’s property cannot make for a stable social order. Thus, Jesus again provides a superior example of the kind of moral and ethical behavior conducive to maintaining a stable social order. Muhammad’s example is just the opposite.
    MURDER
Jesus taught his disciples, “You have heard that it was said to those of old ‘You shall not murder,’ and whoever murders will be in danger of judgment. But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment” (Matt. 5:21-22). Jesus equated unrighteous anger against another as being equal to murder. Jesus never promotes unrighteous anger, and certainly does not endorse outright murder of another. In fact, in contrast, he states, “Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy” (Matt. 5:7).
Muhammad, by way of contrast, taught his followers by example. His biography records many instances of him either participating directly in the murder of his adversaries or the explicit endorsement of such, at times for deeds as insignificant as writing insulting poetry. Consider the following.
Muhammad gave thanks to Allah when the head of one Abu Jahl was delivered to him. Abu Jahl’s crime was making a mockery of Ibn Mas’ud, one of Muhammad’s followers (10).
Ka’b bin Al-Ashraf composed poetry of an insulting nature against Muslim women. For this deed, Muhammad solicited from among his men volunteers to kill Ka’b. They lured Ka’b into the night for a friendly discussion, and at a suitable place killed him (11). Ibn Warraq adds that Ka’b’s head was delivered to Muhammad who praised their good works in the cause of God (12).
After the death of Ka’b, Muhammad ordered the indiscriminate murder, for any reason or no reason at all, of any Jew (13).
Al-Harith b. Sawayd was considered a hypoctite after initially embracing Islam and later rejecting it. For this Muhammad ordered Umar to kill him if he found an opportunity to do so (14).
Muhammad sanctioned the murder of Amr b. Jihash, who had plotted to kill Muhammad by throwing a rock from a rooftop. But even more disturbing is that an unnamed man was given money to kill b. Jihash, a paid murder along the line of today’s paid mafia “hits.” Even if one agrees that b. Jihash deserved what he got for his involvement in plotting to kill Muhammad, this is the opposite of what Jesus taught when he told his disciples to love their enemies.
Muhammad personally approved the murder of Sallam ibn Abu’l-Huqayq whom it was said had enmity toward Muhammad (15).
Muhammad viewed Abdullah bin Sa’d as an apostate after initially embracing Islam but later abandoning it. Muhammad wanted Sa’d murdered, but did not want to take responsibility for his murder, hoping that one of his helpers would volunteer for the deed (16).
Whereas Jesus taught not only that we are not to murder but that hatefulness against another is equivalent to murder, Muhammad sanctioned, condoned, and even personally ordered the murder of others, at times for even the most miniscule of insults against either Muhammad himself or Islam in general. Clearly, the example set by Muhammad should not become normative for society, lest we find ourselves in constant fear of our lives with no guarantee for life, liberty, or the pursuit of happiness.
    VENGEANCE
Matthew 6:43-47 records the following words of Jesus: “You have heard that it was said ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you… For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? …And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others?” Clearly, Jesus did not advocate returning evil with evil, but instead taught his followers to pray for their enemies and return their hate with love. Never is there an incident recorded in the Bible or ant other historical writings about Jesus where he is seen becoming violent toward those who mocked him.
The example of Muhammad is just the opposite in this regard. His actions speak for themselves. Here are just a few examples from his biography.
During the battle of Uhud, one of many battles during which Islam was spread by the sword, Muhammad’s uncle Hamza was killed. A woman named Hind d. ‘Utba mutilated the body of Hamza, cutting off his nose and ears, and cutting out his liver to exact vengeance for the loss of her father, brother, and her first-born son in the battle of Badr (17). In response, Muhammad expressed an overwhelming desire to personally mutilate 30 men of the Quraysh tribe. His expressed desire incited his own men to state that in future battles, “we will mutilate them as no Arab has ever mutilated anyone” (18).
While this sort of a response by Muhammad may seem justified in terms of human reasoning, it seems quite out of character for the prophet of a god who is said to be “most gracious, most merciful.”
In a fit of extreme anger and retribution at the end of the Battle of the Ditch, Muhammad personally beheaded up to 900 Jews in one night, tossing their headless bodies in a ditch dug around Medina. The women, children, and personal possessions of these 900 men were divided up between Muhammad and his followers (19).
“Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.” Such was Muhammad.

@@mrBusssss Jesus can create and give life (Quran 3:49).
“The Bible Teaches Jesus Is God,” and discover this wonderful and vital truth. There are a number of passages that teach Jesus was not just involved in the creation, He was the One creating the universe and everything that is in it and in heaven.
All Things Came Into Being Through Him
John 1:1-3 is the first important passage that teaches “all things” were created by Christ.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. John 1:1-3 (NASB)
In the first verse we are told that the Word was God. For an explanation of the meaning of John 1:1, you are encouraged to read, “In The Beginning Was The Word” and “Before God created the universe, where was Christ?” The studies teach that the Word is Christ (John 1:14) who is our God. He created everything. He created all that is in heaven and in the universe.
      We Exist Through Him
The next passage is 1 Corinthians 8:6.
. . . yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom are all things and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him. 1 Corinthians 8:6 (NASB)
This verse is important since it reveals that Christ did the exact same things that the Father did. God the Father created all things and we live because of the Father. The apostle Paul also states that Christ will maintain all things. This reveals Christ is also God and He created!
By Him Everything Visible and Invisible Were Created
Colossians 1:15-17 helps us understand that when He and the Father created, they created everything in heaven and earth.
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities - all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. Colossians 1:15-17 (NASB)
What did He create? Everything! Everything includes the visible and invisible. The descriptions of dominions or rulers or authorities includes the entire angelic realm. Notice the word “all” is repeated. Now the word all includes everything imaginable. Notice that Christ was before the beginning, that is, before everything, and He continues holding everything together.
But notice that we are told that everything was created by Christ. That means that Christ was not created. He is not a created being; He is God!
The Father Made All Things Through Christ
The last verse we will examine is Hebrews 1:2.
. . . in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world. Hebrews 1:2 (NASB)
Notice that Jesus Christ is referred to in this verse. We are told that the Father and Christ created the heavens and the earth together. The Trinity acted together.
      Conclusion:
Did Jesus create everything, including the world? The answer is yes! He created more than just the world. He created everything. He created everything in heaven and on earth. He made the angels, the stars, the universe and all that is on the earth. Christ is our God, along with the Father and the Spirit, who also created everything. They created everything together.
      JESUS CHRIST IS
      EMANUEL MEANS GOD WITH US.

You can have real, lasting peace today through a relationship with Jesus Christ. Start your four-step journey now!
Step 1 - God’s Purpose: Peace and Life
God loves you and wants you to experience peace and eternal life-abundant and eternal.
      The Bible says:
"We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ."
      Romans 5:1
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life."
      John 3:16
"I [Jesus] came that they may have life and have it abundantly."
      John 10:10
Why don’t most people have this peace and abundant life that God planned for us to have?
Step 2 - The Problem: Sin Separates Us
God created us in His own image to have an abundant life. He did not make us as robots to automatically love and obey Him. God gave us a will and freedom of choice. We choose to disobey God and go our own willful way. We still make this choice today. This results in separation from God.
      The Bible says:
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
      Romans 3:23
"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
      Romans 6:23
Our choice results in separation from God. People have tried in many ways to bridge this gap between themselves and God...
      The Bible says:
"There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death."
      Proverbs 14:12
"But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear."
      Isaiah 59:2
No bridge reaches God... except one.
      Step 3 - God’s Remedy: The Cross
Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose from the grave. He paid the penalty for our sin and bridged the gap between God and people.
      The Bible says:
"For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."
      1 Timothy 2:5
"For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that He might bring us to God."
      1 Peter 3:18
"But God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
      Romans 5:8
God has provided the only way... Each person must make a choice...
Step 4 - Our Response: Receive Christ
We must trust Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and receive Him by personal invitation.
      The Bible says:
"Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with Me."
      Revelation 3:20
"But to all who did receive Him, who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God."
      John 1:12
"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
      Romans 10:9
Will you receive Jesus Christ right now?
Here is how you can receive Christ:
Admit your need. (I am a sinner.)
Be willing to turn from your sins (repent) and ask for God's forgiveness.
Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross and rose from the grave.
Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come in and control your life through the Holy Spirit. (Receive Jesus as Lord and Savior)
We suggest a prayer like this one:
"Dear God, I know I am a sinner. I want to turn from my sins, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe He died for my sins and that You raised Him to life. I want Him to come into my heart and to take control of my life. I want to trust Jesus as my Savior and follow Him as my Lord from this day forward. In Jesus' Name, amen."
Did you pray this prayer? 🙏

May peace be with you! All debates and rebuttals of this topic revolve around the means and not the causes. I hope people can understand this point.
Even though this hadith causes a lot of turmoil today, the purpose of this fabrication was not to make the Prophet, peace be upon him, look bad, pedophile, thirsty for women, this fabrication happened for, you guessed it, sectarian reasons.
This comment will be long, bear with me. You remember that at the beginning of Islam there was a big dispute between two wings, right? One wing followed Mu'auyyah, and the other 'Ali.
Well, one of the people who got on the wrong side, that is, Mu'auyyah was 'Aisha, I won't go into the moral merits of the matter.
As history went on, each sect felt the need to fabricate something to justify their position, correct? "those who have divided their faith and divided into sects, each rejoicing in what they have." Qur'an 30:32
At this point it is worth remembering that a large part of the Sunnite fiqh comes from the narrations of 'Aisha, as opposed to the Shiites, whose narrations come from 'Ali (yes, I know from the other Imams too).
but at this point, the Shiite position seems stronger, as 'Ali was practically raised as the son of the prophet, from an early age in the heart of his home, theoretically, much more worthy of being a source on the prophet than Aisha, the wife who only went to live with the prophet after immigration. Here is the question: how can we strengthen the Sunni position?
Now, one was raised as a child by the prophet, he was a man, etc... the other married him in a second phase of the revelation. That's when they came up with this idea of Aisha's age, not so that the prophet seems bad, pedophile, etc., but so that Aisha seems as worthy of being a source of religion as 'Ali, who was with the prophet from a very young age. the idea is that she was "trained", "taught" since the time she still "played with dolls", that she inherited the "prophetic character", this was not manufactured as a demerit of the prophet but as a merit for Aisha, that is, One of her merits is that she was taught directly by the prophet as a child. A sectarian fabrication, with the intention of elevating Aisha, which today has left us with a big problem. I myself have a hadith book here, where the author cites the hadith from 'Aisha's age to show her merits, talking about how she had already fully adhered to Islam since she was a child.
another detail, even for those who follow hadith, is that 'Aisha was engaged before being engaged to the prophet, to a pagan man, and the engagement was broken because the family was afraid that she would influence their son to become a Muslim, well, What family would be afraid that a 5 year old child (she would have to be even younger, theoretically) could influence an adult to convert to something? Well, my dears, this is the true source of this fabrication.

Thank you. Very important "issue". We have 1.5bn muslims running around in the world defending the beloved prophet, whether he was a (blank) au-zu-billah. Main question is why it was important to create such a false "fact". 1. Was it so the (today's) saudi royalties could engage with little kids? 2. Was it so the Sunni's had a one up with the prophet by having the only one of his wives being a virgin or 3. They did this, to sexually shame the prophet, as the elite do when someone is going against their established doctrines and agendas.

Salaam. The most common reason for the spread of false hadiths was to legitimise desires, including political ones. They simply use the legacy of the prophet as a device to make their desires objectively moral. After all, if the prophet of Allah did x, anyone who questions it is a ka fir. And so this is where we've ended up. The true character of the prophet has been overshadowed by slanderous hearsay.
Sunnis do not defend the prophet. They hate the prophet. They defend a caricature of the prophet in their hadiths.

So the Quran is wrong for saying Aisha was 6? And Sahih Al-Bukhari is wrong for saying “I used to play with the dolls in the presence of the Prophet, and my girl friends also used to play with me. When Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) used to enter (my dwelling place) they used to hide themselves, but the Prophet would call them to join and play with me. (The playing with the dolls and similar images is forbidden, but it was allowed for `Aisha at that time, as she was a little girl, not yet reached the age of puberty.) (Fath-ul-Bari page 143, Vol.13)” ?

Alright Firstly in you video about Asma's age the narration for it is weak
ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Abī al-Zinād is a weak narrator so asma's age isn't confirmed
Also let me refute your claim about Surat Al-Qamar
There are a few points to take into consideration: 1-whether Surah al-Qamar is in its entirety a Makkan Surah
‎2-the date when Surah al-Qamar was revealed
    3-‎meaning of Jāriya
your claim is that the verse mentioned in the hadith of Sūra al-Qamar is Medinan, revealed in 4/5/6/7/9 or 10 AH thus pushing the age of Aishaؓ to be older.
‎However, Ibn Ḥajar and Ibn ʿĀshūr deny these claims.
More specifically, Ibn Hajar states that Aishaؓ was born eight years before and was three years old when this verse was revealed, which would place its date of revelation at 617 CE
    ‎[Ghufaylī, al-Sanā al-Wahhāj, 227-229]
The most indirect method of arriving at the conclusion that she was older involves understanding what ʿĀʾisha meant by jāriya. There is no specific age for a jāriya as the term is generally understood to refer to a youthful girl.
The term "الجَارِيَة" refers to a female slave or servant, regardless of whether she is old or young. It is a term used to describe a female servant. The mention of "الشَمس" means the sun, and "السفينة" means a ship or vessel. In the Quran, "الجَارِيَة" is mentioned in Surah Al-Qamar (The Moon) in the verse: "حَمَلنَاكم فِي الجَارِيَة" (We carried you in the ship), which is part of the verse describing the story of Prophet Nuh (Noah) and the Ark. "الرِيح" refers to the wind, and "جوار" means to sail or move swiftly.
The question is, what is the minimum age of a jāriya? Al-Mālikī clarifies Ibn Hajar’s statement saying: “Ibn Ḥajar mentions that Aishaؓ was born eight years before hijra. She would be three years old at the splitting of the moon, and it is permissible to call a 3 year old a jāriya.”
From these statements we can estimate that the age of a jāriya can range from three to eight years old.
Now that we have 2 markers,
‎1-Year of revelation of Surah al-Qamar
    ‎2-Definition of jariya
‎We can use their permutations to figure out the range of Aishaؓ 's marriage
‎The two extremes after calculation gives us the ages of 3 and 14
‎So obviously these ages don't match or make sense so what do we take? we take what the aḥādīth and scholars say and they say that she was 6 at the marriage and consummated at 9

    Salamun alaikum.
Some say the age of Aisha ra was lowered for political reasons, Allahu 3alam.
(PD: i have this bad habit of commenting before watching the whole video, so if the brother explains then ignore my comment)
Personally, i don't have double standards, i don't see the minimum age of marriage or consummation being 18 yo.
Not at all, it's obviously too high and only sustainable now that we get to live more, also causing many to fall into f0rnication without their parents knowing (And I've seen that happen, not literally witnessing of course but heard it from the people themselves or the closer ones)
I had understood that the Prophet alaihi salam allegedly married but didn't consummate until she hit puberty.
And a p3dofile literally doesn't wait until puberty, that's why by definition he or she is a p3dofile.
This aside, i don't believe in ahadith as a reliable source anyways.
But i'm just saying that falling into a modern morality conception and Judging on people who "weren't warned" so to speak is not fair.
This is like fining you for having done a car movement that wasn't illegal when you did it, but now is.
Now, what is the minimum age according to the Quran?
I don't think it goes by age, rather it goes by material reality.
    Has puberty reached? Mental maturity?
What is a Nisa? What is a woman? (something very hard for some to answer)
What is the Quranic definition, or the logical definition?
I believe it is at puberty, but some pointed out that mental maturity might not be there, and i would agree we should have a standart for that also.
But i don't want to base it on logic alone, i would want to have the Quran to guide me to the best Judgement.
So if anyone has evidence, like a video recommendation or the likes, it would be cool to know. (And to reiterate, i'm a Quran alone, before discovering the Quran, i was an egoist, literally lawless, that's why i want the morality to come from Allah or at least being derived from it, since otherwise the waswas misguides me)
    Peace be with you.

It has scientifically verifiable verses which the prophet couldn't have known. And it's still preserved today and not fractured into different versions

brother , why would you even regard that Aisha was even real? have you even read the Qur'an and notice that there is no "Hawa" or "Eve"?
the Hadith is just a theatre of 'wojak' memes augmented as the "life" of the prophet.
The Qur'an radiates raw Qualia that you must discern and ingest them, as it is a catalyst for human evolution. مُحَمَّد MuHamaD is in ٱلْحَمْدُ Al-HaMD , it is about the properties that attributed 'praise' to it. bringer of praise(s).

No but it was only believed by one sect (Sunnis) and the claim that she was that young started popping up after 100-200 years after Muhammad's death. Most people at this time (mostly Mu'tazila) found hadith to be bid'ah (an innovation in religion). Now ot is simply widely accepted amongst most Muslims (as most are Sunni) because the Mu'tazilas and Hadith rejectors are associated with oppression due to certain Sultans torturing Hadith acceptors. I find it highly unbelievable that she was that age if only one sect has believed this.

      Tawatur…
If your belief in the book is based on the book, then the way of transmission has no meaning, but if your belief in the book is based on the way of transmission, then your belief has no meaning…
We did not believe the people that brought the Quran, but we believed the Quran.
The person who delivers a message has done a human effort, but his human effort is not responsible for the truth it conveys nor is it responsible for my belief in that truth....
The truth is from God and my belief in the truth is not from that person, and thats what really matters...
The issue of tawatur is a silly issue, because the credibility of the Qur’an was never due to its attribution to Muhammad or because so-and-so companion transmitted it, but rather the credibility of the Qur’an is generated from itself and the testimony of the text itself.
The believers did not believe the Qur’an because Muhammad brought it, but rather they believed it when they heard it and knew that it was the truth...
( 28:53 ) : “And when it is recited to them they say: We believe in it, it is the truth from our Lord”
( 5:83 ) : “when they listen to that which has been revealed to the messenger, you see their eyes overflow with tears, because of their recognition of the truth”
( 72:1-2 ) : “Lo! We have heard a marvelous Quran, which guides to righteousness, so we believed in it”
All of these verses confirm to the believer that the verses are self evident and their validity stems from them and not from men or a method of transmission.
On the contrary, the infidels were the ones who wanted to attribute the Qur’an to a man of high social standing in order for them to believe him...
“And they said: Oh that this Quran had but been revealed to a great man of the two cities!” ( 43:31 )
