  • Dear viewers, come join Man Alone as he subjects you to a painstaking, 1-hour long slog through the rules to Mutant Year Zero: Zone Wars, only to discover at the end that the solo rules are quite lacking. Oh well, at least we have each other.
The intro ends (and the Mutant Year Zero: Zone Wars content) begins at around 20:00
I'd say this video is good if you just want the rules read to you and want to feel better about yourself and your ability to follow simple instructions, because I get lost a few times, but I was so desperate to finish this video that I was simply not going to attempt making it for a fourth time. So WHAT YA SEE IS WHAT YA GET

Video 24 (of 25) of me liking and then commenting on every new upload to lead the people to a Cy_Borg play through.
Please reply to this comment with whether you think that Black Leather or Brown Leather is better. If you CREATIVELY defend your stance, then I will take a bite of an apple in your name.

@@DesertDwellerSoloGaming All shades are valid, why because sometime I want to choose black for the Necrocomicon, red for a Travellers Journal, blue for a Good Wizards spell book, green for the Fay's special tomes, and white Accountancy Book for that pesky Wyvern that won't stop bugging me about finishing my bookbinding projects.

Listen man, if you go back to your video titled “Solo Roleplaying: Embrace Your Inner Shadow” and refer to the comments section, you will find that YOU are the one that told me the choice was between Cy_Borg or Pirate Borg. That said, my preference is to Mörk Borg, so if that is an option I request abandonment of all other options and forward movement with that.

It's cool you're taking a stab at writing litrpg. I'm doing the same thing after a lot of frustration reading what's on offer in the genre. From what I gather, listening to author interviews, this is the way a lot authors have gotten their start in litrpg, so I guess we're in good company.

Would be cool to hear what tools you're using for writing...right now I find Obsidian good for organizing my thoughts, given the way I write. Considering trying dictation.

@@amanisalone I've tried dictation and I know some people swear by it, but I find my thoughts are far less scattered when I'm actually writing/typing the words. For now I'm using Google Docs. I like Scrivener, and I would use that, but it seems it's incompatible with Chromebook.

I think the movie you are referring to is Battle Royale. It is Japanese though these days you have stuff like Squid Game which is Korean and is in the same vein (sort of).

I too hate when game designers name drop something in the game only to have it clarified 10 pages later. I just don't understand why they can't do all the clarifications and definitions in the beginning of the section/chapter or just put a margin note....something, anything so I don't have to reread everything thinking I missed a key concept.
