I watch a few of you guys and I quite like your particular style and more specifically the way you do the overlays with pricing and game footage is super cool. Love the editing. I would also like the pop culture stuff if you do want to show us that section sometimes, yes!
I'm glad you like it! I really just want to make the whole Japan retro game scene as clear as possible to foreign viewers so I like adding commercials and stuff for context.
Awesome hunt as always with great pickups! The terrible things you've heard about the NEO-GEO CD are the loading times! They are truly terrible. As for the games, most of them were released as AES & MVS (cartridge form) as well. If you like 2D arcade and fighting games, you're in for a treat!
Thanks bro! I actually learned a lot from your NeoGeo video, we watched it on stream lol the VOD should still be live. Love some of the NEOGEO games, my favorite is King of the Monsters but I'm just not sure where to start with the console. I'm thinking an AES w/ flashcart?
@@4amLaundry Dude! I just watched that livestream! Thank you so much for the kind words, man! :D Glad you liked my idea with just filming and walking around stores without any editing. Apart from gameplay footage of course. And I agree about the Retro Game community in Japan. Its awesome. Lets hunt together one day!
Great video! I had no idea the Ultima games were ported to consoles. And they started with Exodus: the one where the end boss is a computer that you kill with punch cards. XD
I mentioned this before but thank you for highlighting games we don’t get to see often like the sumo nes game and the taito Grand Prix game. I have been tempted to import initial d on ps2. Looks fun! I bet your collection is awesome with neat finds like those! Keep up the hard work!
"nobody talks about Saturn" Everyone does, prices are higher than they've ever been. You can see it in some of those games in the glass case that were tens of thousands of yen! Thanks for taking us along for the journey.
True that, it's why I'm saving up for a Satiator. I meant it's never mentioned first as there's so many Saturn games out there that are good but still lesser known. Thanks for watching!
I actually rarely get toys (tiny Tokyo apartment lol) but I do have some figures. That stuff fills up a room QUICK lol Definitely gonna go through them some more tho!
hey man love your content been watching you and alot of people like you for a while now. been wanting to go and do what you guys do when i go visit japan for 2 weeks in mid october. mainly looking for allot of party games for the snes . nes and gamecube consoles with the gba players. how often do you see them?| mario partys and the mario karts and general party games like that dont require any japanese to understand.
dude that Pikachu N64.... LOVE IT
IKR! The price was a bit steep but definitely worth it as that box was MINT
@DestinyFomo When are you coming back to Japan!?
@@RetroMoments its looking like dec/jan and im staying for 2 months lol

I appreciate your videos.especially the way you break down yen vs $$.it is quite helpful.keep up the great videos

Most bizarre game you showed today, was that musquito game. Love this video!
Haha it's one of my favorite odd games from that era!

No worries man I only watched it on stream because I enjoy the content haha
Great and polished video as always!
Some nice items you picked up and those LCD monitors surprised me!!
Yeah people sleep on those but they also scale really well, I was looking at the 4:3 ones before I got my current CRT but can't beat an old tube haha
Great video!

It's super popular ohere! It's also kind of the whole reasome we have JRPG's today since that's how Japan got introduced to RPG's.
Great video as always and some great finds too!
Thanks! It was a lot of fun to make haha
banger bro banger!

A lot! Everything you listed is super common!
@@4amLaundry hells yeah man gonna make it big when I get back
Considering the price of mr mosquito 2 I really hope you bought it😂
Has it gone up? I found one literally today for around the same price lol, I don't really keep track of the prices outside of Japan.
jim 2?
Apparently this dud also has a twitch channel
I do be having one.
Isn't the Japanese edition N64 Pokemon console orange
It is! Well, also, there were 2 Japanese Pikachu N64's, an orange one and a blue one!
@@4amLaundry I saw the orange one I think on Retro Ricks channel or Phoenix Resale. Great looking console
Ah makes sense, there's European and American ones too, all with slight differences here and there.
Are the Pokémon gameboy games in Japanese only?
Yeah it's extremely rare for any of these to be in English.
