I like the initiative. But I also suggest Kantanka should employ the service of a good marketing strategist to be at the forefront of their products.

Competition is good. We've been urging kantanka for years to produce small cars for the market to no avail. But look, immediately other competitors entered the market, just look at them. A healthy Competition always benefit the consumer.

Unfortunately, the reason Kantanka Cars is able to offer world-class vehicles is simple: It gets just about everything shipped over
from a Chinese automaker. The Kantanka vehicles supposedly designed for Ghana's local conditions are, in fact, indistinguishable from ones that have been on sale in China for years.

First, Kantanka You still need competition, that will push you to innovate and make better quality products or else other market players will kick you out by the “invisible hand”. Second, I don’t think other international automobiles came to Ghana because of Kantanka.
They did come to Ghana because of the new automotive policy that was favorable to them and to the Ghanaian automobile market.
Third, their “econobox” cars are definitely too expensive.

Please know that we are living in a new era where things are extremely competitive and consumers demand products of higher quality, efficiency, performance, and safety...
If the African automotive industries do not improve their products quickly, it can affect them in the long term run, this is when they do not go out of business and die out...
Only a few will buy a product because it is locally made that is when they are stupid not to care about the safety, quality, performance, efficiency, etc
Do you think a business in a competitive industry will buy a poor-quality product for use?
How do you think they are going to survive when the competition is using high-quality products?

They only buy this to support the company's growth and not because they need these tiny cars for various reasons such as Safety, Features, Performance, Luxury, Reliability, Value, Comfort, Practicality, Quality, Efficiency, etc.
