"Grew up with", it was only on for 4 seasons 😅. But I will say one of the only decent storylines in that show was the Blue Beetle arc.
The biggest mistake they did was announcing the reboot too soon . They should have scheduled flash’s release much later but the damage was already done by Ezra. I am sure once superman legacy releases DCU will be right on track

Bet. James has had time working in the MCU and planning how his stories will progress years in advance. He even planned the whole Christmas special on the set of endgame. He’s well adapt at knowing how to plan things out and understands that you shouldn’t race a franchise that’s years ahead of you.

Not releasing in theaters doesn’t mean they aren’t going to lose money. Releasing in theaters are helping them not lose as much money as if they just released it on HBO if that makes sense

Consider though that a lot of the flash was cut. Only WB and DC heads seen the original movie. It's possible that the directors cut could possibly be the "greatest super hero movie ever made". I think at some point DC may release the directors cut on max.

They should just put their eggs in the Blue Beetle basket. It has no controversy surrounding it which is what DC really needs. Maybe I'm biased because BB was always my favorite DC hero, but it just seems like the safer choices. Maybe shoot a post credit scene connecting it to Superman Legacy to drive a little hype.
I agree, dc followed the whole “bad press is good press” strategy way too hard. I’m hoping they don’t follow the same trend after these two new movies and I also hope we get out of this era where the writers insult Batman as a trailer joke.

I think it’s hilarious that the two DC movies after Aquaman they made any money were the ones they weren’t connected to a cinematic universe. I don’t know how long it’s going to take for them to realise that they can’t keep trying to force a continuity down the viewers throats. There’s only so many cinematic universes people can take on a yearly basis before they just stop keeping track of them. I can’t wait for this DCEU to be completely forgotten in 10 years time.

I mean they do have to pay for a little Marketing in order to put it into theaters. Anytime you make a movie for theaters you can't just release it digitally him expect to get your money back. The only way they can get close to breaking even is to put both of them in theaters.
Here's what I think should happen:
Scrap an interconnected universe and stick to a seperate universe alone. Tell the stories needing to be told, and then have an Avengers moment with Crisis. CW is many things, but having seperate universes to tell stories is great until you need to create a universe with Crisis.
Robert Battinson can become Batman alongside David Corensweat and we get to see them become a team!
