I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.
I feel your pain mate, as a fellow retiree, I’d suggest you look into passive index fund investing and learn some more. For me, I had my share of ups and downs when I first started looking for a consistent passive income so I hired an expert advisor for aid, and following her advice, I poured $30k in value stocks and digital assets, Up to 200k so far and pretty sure I'm ready for whatever comes.

I know election years are positive for the stock market about 90% of the time. I’m currently retired, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, I decided to stay on the sideline for awhile, Hold cash and wait till the market re-levels so I can make new buys again. now I’m worried with the numerous bank failures as of late, am I better off reinvesting my savings in the stock market or do I wait?

My family is in Real Estate (Property dealing) from 3 generations and we easily grow our money by 28% per annum (I am really calculative) but still its because of the experience of my father grandfather and so on. I dont promote real estate to anyone who has very low patience and sometimes even your patience can't make you profitable cause you can face huge losses too but still I love my work its in my bloodline now. Also i keep some amount of my profit for some experimental investments and I love Ankur sir's advice cause they always work for me.

So about 68% of my Investment portfolio is in passive index funds and ETFs VFTAX, VOO, VTI among others. I make use of an F.A Emily Lois Parker It’s pleasant for me this way, these are suitable steps for seeking greater cash flow on long term trends.I feel like even if 20% of my portfolió underperforms, I’ll still generate income from having a diverse portfolio. Better than spending my money on an expensive shoe or vacation lol.
