The Traveling Trains - World Premiere (SDSU Ensemble X)

An experimental composition that structures a theatrical production. The piece places you in the point of view of a train passing by, simulating the doppler effect. This piece uses avant-garde elements as well as a unique instrumentation to create the soundscape of a traveling train. This was my first time creating something more out of my realm of orchestral and acoustic style, but I am glad I was able to.
