I definately got a similar feeling to you. Side by side with arma 3 in pictures it might be easy to think its just a small graphical update but there is something that is a a bit untangable that when your playing it really makes it feel like the next generation of arma. This is the first arma game where I have enjoyed sniping and that has added hours for fun sneaking around gameplay for me
Ive been considering buying Reforger since it was released and now you've just convinced me to do it!
I CAN NOT wait for the amazing mods to come out for this game I really hope you and frankie make some great viddys with this game

Love the new getting in and out of vehicle animations, much better then the old teleportation method!
Shooting the wall showed me how much detail they put into the game already as the tracer ammo even glows in the wall!.

first arma game on console so for xbox gamers like me this is such a huge step in the right dorection i find myself playing this game for HOURS and not realizing how long its been im super hyped for when modders add all kinds of aircrafts this will be a great game
Oh yah from moding i can tell you you can expect a lot of game changing mods, witch will change game a lot, even more as a3 witch had quite amazing realism mods, but reforger sdk is another level

An overlooked aspect of ARMA Reforger is now that clothing is all separate items like DAYZ it will allow for some interesting guerrilla campaigns where you will need to capture the enemies equipment for your guerrilla army to use throughout the campaign much like you had to in the OFP: Resistance campaign except back then you could only capture weapons and vehicles. Now you will be able take their uniforms down to their boots. I always liked the capturing of equipment aspect from the Resistance campaign.
I hope ARMA 4 also gets magazine loading from DAYZ and gear damage.

Afternoon Sada, It does look awesome, its almost at a point where its like google maps 🤣, id love to see the new Unreal Engine with a game like this. Once most of the bugs are worked out it will be epic to see what mischief you get upto on it.
just got the game today I haven't been enjoying games at all really and it was the most fun I've had in awhile played multi-player and got a kill did get dced tho but Imma keep playing forsure
Series X. My first plunge into ARMA, exactly the type of combat shooter I've been looking for all these years. A bit rough around the edges but it hits the spot and I can't wait to see what the future holds. Looking forward to all the options/mods, hopefully Soviet vs Afghanistan. I should have bought a gaming PC years ago. I won't be putting this down any time soon. I liked this video, professional, very informative and some cool insights.

Sadly my version crashes damn near as soon as I start my game on xbox series s, but I did play quite a bit and am amazed. Cant wait to see what you and Frankie come up with us

try to remeber to dial you scope range down (page up and down) to match your combat range and you will land shots easier
Game is dynamic 4k on Xbox Series X hovering at about 1900p, med graphics/textures etc, or dynamic 1440p on Series S hovering at about 1300p at low graphics/textures etc, and still runs at around potato 20 to 50fps depending where you are and what's going on. Looks sharp but the edges of things look like low anti-aliasing so they're all jagged and enemies render out of existence at 700 to 800ish meters (I tested in game master and pub servers), but you can see flashlights and vehicle lights at infinite distance, so at night time on a mountain you see floating lights and stuff everywhere from enemy AI flashlights, players and vehicle lights. Also the last update made servers laggy and disconnects me more than usual and still capped at 16 players on Xbox on official only servers. You asked, kind of. 🤣

Yes, i got a performance boost after the update as well, Im running RTX 3700, and before the update i had to play on low settings sometimes, but now i always play on max settings and i still get almost solid 60 fps.
Love this game so far, despite all the bugs and crashing. Let the kinks get worked out and this is going to be something you can spend hours on with your boys.

Sometimes it’s easy to forget it’s just an early access demo. Very limited, but still really engaging and immersive. I actually think the “1989 simplicity” even adds to that, rather than detracting. One quick point to note, but, there’s no “rag doll”. Deaths are animated and repetitive, although, still nicely done (still better than vanilla rag doll in Arma 3!)

playing this on the Xbox series S is a bit tough. I'm hoping it inevitably comes to PS5 but I'm having an absolute blast as is. Regardless of its flaws Arma Reforger is exactly what I've been waiting for on console

Arma Reforger has a lot of networking issues revolving around player desync, if you really pay attetion to players around you their movement is really choppy. I really hope they fix these issues sooner then later.
The reason you could hit the terrain instead of the target is because the barrel of the gun is located below your sights.

I'm glad I'm not the only one with performance issues here Sada, it looks like your gameplay is about the same as mine. Everyone is like oh Reforger is so much better than A3 and I'm like huh? Lol. In A3 I get a locked 60 fps at 5k view. In DayZ SA, 90 locked ultra everything. I've got an i7 8700k, GTX 1080, 32gb RAM, good ram(that's a reference), on a 1tb WD Black Nvme playing at 3440x1440. On Reforger everything is medium to high, I've toned stuff back, tried everything, reduced my distance to 2k, I refuse to play under medium, and I'm getting like high 30s....I'm like WTF.... and honestly, DayZ SA looks better, especially the foliage at distance, obviously the assets don't lol, but the foliage definitely does. I hope something is just messed up and is addressed, because I haven't touched it since the first week.

Your bullets can hit enemy weapons in their hands? Looked like their guns were blocking your shots. If so thats sick and could really save your life from that one sniper shot to your chest.

Nice video, but you are stuttering all over the place even with no other players/bots around. I can't imagine how it runs for you when the scene is crowded.
Sada Arma Reforger is just a quick money grab from people who want to do modding for the next game Arma 4 if it ever gets released I've made a topic on Steam about it and pretty much thats what most people said and thought about it. the Engine is still pretty laggy when it comes to huge scale battles they should fix that. Its a processor based game mostly but it should use more graphicscard related things for its peformance dont you think?. Arma 4 with a battlefield alike gamemode/map would be awsome in the future without having to rely on 3th party servers that are mostly full of griefers and 4th party mods and clients.

My PC is a beast RTX card and a High-End processor and it still laggs with huge scale battles + it relies on huge 3-4th party mods to have a decent experience. Most servers are unorganised and really crappy when it comes to multiplayer. Huge amounts of toxic milsim units that waste your time on forms just to never show up or not do anything useful besides wasting your Gbs on their mods
I slightly disagree. At least on higher resolutions. I'm playing Arma Reforger on an AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, 64GB DDR4-3600 RAM and a RTX 3070 graphics card on 3440x1440 resolution. And in every possible case, i am in the limit of my GPU. It's always on 100% load. But if you are still playing on 1080p, you are probably right with the "processor based game"...because lower resolutions will always limit your cpu, instead of your gpu. But yeah overall performance isn't good. On max settings i reached only around 50 fps...normally in other games i reach around 70-90. So there is definitely some performance issues..because the graphics aren't super intense. If this was Stalker 2 instead, and i reach only 50 fps on ultra, i would say...yeah its probably my hardware...but not in Arma. xD
@@killerjay6755 The last bit with the milsimmers will always be true for any 'relistic' shooter, but I have played the game on both last gen 1080ti and a 3080ti with 32gb ram and a ryzen 3900xt which is more than 5000 dollars worth of pc junk, yes the 1080ti on max setting 1440p will hover at 40 fps avg and around 35 avg on high load I've been playing with large scale stuff in the game engine editor which I have to say is one of the best I've used besides UE5 from epic. the 3080ti on the other hand is a beat RTX card and I'm pinned at 70 fps which for an arma game is insain! the FPS is as good as DayZ in its current state considering arma 3 would sit with a 3080ti at around 40 fps no matter what your doing I think performace is great and OFC it is going to improve which is the whole point of this. Imagine in Cyberpunk posted a test demo thing before they released, the mess of 2077 would have never happened. . . Which I'm fine with because it means my most favorite game arma 3 will have a stunning new brother arma 4. Also the server lag is there and is intermitet but once again the point of this is to fix that so report is when it happens. and the whole kicking caboodal with the servers is deffinetly getting better, even on the larger player count servers and I'm sure will be patch out of exitence. The server players them selves seem mostly new to the arma serise which is awsome but can be anoying but to be frank armas community does really need fresh blood. The real in game vanilla experince to me is amazing ignoring bugs which will be fixed. The shooting, driving, supplying, capturing, and Ai(which got updated today to be more responsive) is amazing and frankly to me! is the best FPS arma style combat game I have ever played and really got my adrenaline pumping just like in DayZ. I got scared when 2 blokes dressed up with US kit pulled up got out started talking and the screamed at me and my mate in Russian then shot the 3 guys next to us we managed to get them ( in the pitch black of night btw) but fuck that scared me. So OFC this is mostly Opinion if you don't like it and don't like arma dont get it but if you want to see a really good continuation of the arma franchise get it play it its fun.

@@rostomzerrougui Its nothing to do with dayz, engine is developed for both games, and as i sayed arma 3 had bugs and was in similar state to this in early access to, so when a4 will comes out and if its complete garbage than you can tell scam, now you judging without knowing.
@@Krahamus more than 7 yrars in development, players were mad, till now bugs are present, taking a map from arma and port it to dayz (something which community can make easily) and price it for more than 20$ for me this is called a scam
