I'm not going to lie I think a lot of people that play this need to hear the logistics part. There's just so few people willing to do logistics.
Logi is frustrating because trucks are way too slow, especially on an incline. I get that it's because of gravity but still the truck loses so much speed with the slightest incline even at full throttle.
@@HerezCheezthis is so true. It’s not really so much that the trucks are terribly slow, it’ just that any incline kills 110% of your momentum and speed. Same with every vehicle too. It needs to be fixed. No way that’s realistic.
I just play combat ops, alone. Those boxes or game master is just not for me
Most people don't even understand the objective tbh.
theres a very good reason why logistics is a demanding job literally everywhere in the world. its boring and stressful as heck but is a fundament to war and global economics xD
I have played Arma 1, 2, & 3 for years now. I absolutely love the game and what mod devolpers have done for the community. Reformer looks amazing with its tightened gameplay. I am sad I won't be able to experience it on PC. My PC is showing its age and cannot keep up with modern games anymore. With prices what they are I cannot afford to build or buy a new one. With arma on Xbox, I can afford that and I am happy I will be able to play a series I love again.
Start saving up bro don’t tell yourself that you can’t! You thinking that will never let you get out of that I know it’s tough but just try saving up even if its $20 a week

Seeing the map again is such a nostalgia trip, especially now that I can FINALLY explore it at my leisure
As a new player, and being asked “what does the game need”. This was my first request. Talk about great response time!
As a noob, I’ve been mostly trying to transport supplies to learn the map better and quicker.

@@RussianPunchProductions I’m getting better at knowing the map, but I’m still having to stop and check it to make sure I don’t miss a turn. Honestly the hardest part is not getting from town to town, it’s actually finding the garrisons friendly or enemy. I always have a problem finding it, I end up in the right area but it’s hard for me to actually locate bases still. Like some people know exactly where bases are, I get off track and turned around looking for them especially when they’re in the woods. And I always blow past the ones tucked into the clearings off the roads. I’m still new with less than 60 hours. I usually get frustrated and just fast travel to the next objective when I get too lost.
I'm coming from bf4 and hell let loose. Game is downloading mods right now on my series x. This is gna be interesting

Thank you guys. Regarding Conflict we need another kind of guide:
People have to learn what is important to help their team winning.
Some examples: do not start the game wasting precious supplies and time dressing up like Rambo only to be left behind by the vehicles. If You are the driver, please please please be on comms. If you are capturing an objective, bring some supplies for the antenna. Respawn costs supplies (more so if you have an heavy loadout), learn to fast travel with the transport request. Main base respawns don't cost any supplies. Some objectives are more important than others to capture and defend, despite being in the middle of nowhere. And most importantly, if you don't have a clue, ask.

It blew my mind when I joined still wet behind the ear's and noob is a understatement on how new I was. And a squad took me in whole heartedly, have not seen a toxic player yet. Took me in and then 15 minutes later we were 11 men strong. One of the guys acquired a walkie from the enemy team from base alaska. He could hear where they was running a supplied truck. We turned around and intercepted it. It was a 4 man Humvee and one of our teammates had a tube launcher and was able to hit and incapacitate it. They all chugged grenades as soon as the enemies got out. I mean at least 20 grenades it was so loud I had to mute the computer right quick. They went and scavenged over their bodies to make sure they were all dead while laughing. Global chat lit up congratulating them. I was just sitting there, not one grenade thrown not one shot fired noob as ever in awe land. I have never experienced that in no other game and I do not think I ever will again. The learning curve is very steep but its so much worth it. This is more than a damn game its an experience that you will get with no other game out there. I have chills running all across my arms writing this lol. This makes hell let loose look like battlefield. The way how this is so in depth, WOW. To be on a radio chat with a squad to someone coming into that frequency asking for sos because him and his team are pinned down at a base, that is so crazy to me.
I've never played a smoother arma title. This is so clean. PC player here.

Besides providing us with the best first person military sim on the market, you created the platform for the zombie survival games hype, you created the platform for the battle royal games hype, you created the platform for the Arma Life Mod, which inspired countless gamers and creators. You now are the first developers who share the biggest and most complete game and mod launcher with release, you are the first developers who serve full mod support from a workshop for consoles at release and you are the first developers at that scale in the business who release the whole engine tool with assets and sounds to everyone right from the start. Guys, stay legendary!

Not going to lie, it's hard to learn if you've never played a milsim before. But adapting to the play style is easy enough and the community is very supportive 🤙🏼
As a vet all the way from Arma 2 this was a nice overview i didn't know about the combat ops mode I'll have to try that one. While there are still some issues with trying to play with mods it's still a blast to play lately. I guess my only gripe at the moment is that there's no flight controller support which has kept me away from the helicopters, but I had heard why it's not there so i guess i have some hope for it to be added.

I would like that we could hide the mines under the terrain and only the 25% tip of the mine can be visible, and we can hide them with the shovel in only terrain places

Nice video! Though I feel one thing should be mentioned that Arma veterans know and Reforger newbies do not yet - its the communities that make the game, join one, create one and be part of something bigger. I cannot stress enough how vastly improved experience with organised scenarios is.

Is there any news on ps5 release?
Im on xbox and when I download mods now it says storage is full. When I look at my hard drive it shows only 50% is full. I don't get it. I guess you can't download all the same stuff as pc.

You have to rent a server in order to use the mods you download with your friends unfortunately

Not letting me join any servers I have to download a bunch of stuff and I did but still it was saying server full and it’s just such a long process to get into a game, I was in the game for like 3 hours trying to get into a server but I still was not able too
Btw I am completely new to arms and this is my first time playing, well I didn’t actually play anything I just waited for 3 hours and got annoyed
Those are modded servers needing the necessary mods in order to play- if you want quick jump in and play you’ll want the official servers. It’s similar to dayz in that way, It can be tedious but once your set up and playing it’s well worth it

When is a single player campaign mode?
Combat ops are extremely short. When is a campaign going to be released?
A full single-player campaign is not within the scope of Arma Reforger, but it is planned for Arma 4. However, we do plan to add more coop and SP content to Arma Reforger in the future.
@@ArmaPlatform Thank you. Make sure to please add Hostage Rescue scenarios too and make the map more populated with enemies including patrolling gunships, tanks and jeeps in the combat ops missions. 🙂

What the deal with ps5 release,why no news on a date or is it not coming ever?
I uninstalled almost all my other games to make room for all the mods I have to download but then half the mods I need downloading ..cause my Xbox to say I don’t have enough memory so I never can play, it’s agravating.

All ways keen to be part of arma community, however seeing arma 3 guide & gameplay video really overwhelmed me which make me decide not to try it out. Seeing this quickstart guide really making me keen to boot it up in future

Waaay better. It runs better than any bohemia game ever. However it is a graphic intensive game and you do need a good GPU to get good performance

I have been playing since operation flash point.
I will but the game when it's done and finished, not buying an un finished game that is buggy and will take years ro finish.

I’m playing since Arma 2, (A2:OA, A3), and it is more fluid experience, less wasted time waiting for transport(especially with the transport request) I don’t want to go back to Arma 3 after the Reforger, in spite of most community groups still sticks to Arma 3. With the mods i don’t notice that is a cold war era game.
Is this game active on Xbox?
Very much so! There are actually even more active Xbox players than PC. But with crossplay, Xbox and PC players are all in the same servers together anyhow :)
Is VR working with this yet ???

This will never ever be stable in VR, it’s only just become stable for high end PC let alone anything else

It would be nice if you guys showcased some of the popular community mods of the game and popular servers that host them, such as the growing Halo mods being made by Uppercut and Watershed Division, and the already thriving Dark Gru guys with RHS/PLA mods, 75th rangers, ARMA LIFE, Vietnam?
Could really help with gaining support for the this arma bridge we call reforger.

I love the idea of the Cold War scenario on an arma platform but where are the campaigns?? Too many devs just focus on multiplayer now, it’s kinda lazy and hugely disappointing compared to older arma games.
Add the ability to change movement speed with mouse wheel like mousewheeelup your are moving normally when scrolling down your movement speed decreasing and you are going slower what's will be very good mechanic to clear buildings

Talking about the bullet fire being realistic. Wrong!! I get headshots repeatedly that don't even affect the enemy.
Seems dead now, highest player count in a lobby is 11 so I'm guessing only the YTer lobbies are the one where we see actual large scale battles. Kinda sucks ngl
Check out the wcs servers, think they only been up a few weeks but they stay full
It worked in the beginning of Reforger but until the head tracking gets fixed, were sticking with Arma 3. Real soldiers use head tracking to look and zoom 🤷♂️

Nice video! But I don't prefer playing a copy of Squad with DayZ mechanics, I'll stay in Arma 3 till 4 comes out thanks to modders and community who keep alive a 10 year old game.

That is not how the memory for the mods work man. You can only download -____GBs (I am not sure how much it is but, its no more than 25gb) of Mod downloads. Be specific about what you download- Clear your downloads in Mod manager and only download mods for the servers you frequent.
