This time we shall give Spore Druid a go. Druids are a class I have extremely little experience with, so we shall see how it goes. I did an early wipe at the very first fight outside the Grove, so we are off to a rough start. This is technically run 2, but since the first ended so fast I don't really count it.

6:12 I believe if you are hiding and a pet attacks (gobbos cant go into conversation about you attacking someone) you'll always trigger a surprise round (or at least more reliably than when you get the dialogue)

two consecutive hits at 64% disadvantage is crazy. I can't tell you how many misses I have gotten at 99% advantage. 😭
At 99%?! I've always said that if it isn't 99%, it might as well be 50%, but I've never really struggled with 99% misses.

what percentage is optimal? i’m more of a “fuck it, we ball” type guy so i’ll go for attacks as low as 30% sometimes 💀

Love your content! Watched your other run and excited you're doing something 'off the beaten path' with a build that's not so popular. Fun to watch you navigate the battles. Btw, where do you get the 2nd hand crossbow? First one is from the Tiefling in the Grove, but I can't figure out how to get the second one
Oh thank you very much! 🖤 The 2nd hand crossbow you can pick up from Dammon as well. His inventory refresh on a level up or long rest, so just need to keep looking into his shop. I just used partial long rest until I got one :)

How do you steal the breastplate +1 without risking scaring auntie ethel? Or do you buy it every time?

"When I pick that up I do it early when arriving to the Grove, like right away usually. There's fewer npc's there by then and you can stealth, nab it and run towards the prison area and return to camp. Auntie never ran away for me when doing that :)"
do you listen to something while playing or just the original sound of the game?
While I really do appreciate the soundtrack I sometimes listen to music if I’m just trying to rush things
once u play the game enough times you eventually spam spacebar through the dialogue and tune out the sounds
I don't understand how Guard Gurgon is immune to drow poison but then still gets hit by it randomly.
If/when he save vs the poison he get a 2 round immunity, check his buffs at 20:46. When that "buff" is gone he can be poisoned again
i think most if not all poisons in the game have a saving throw attatched to them. if a creature succeeds, they’ll have a couple of rounds of immunity
How are you level 4 already?
I hit 3 in the grove. Lump recording got messed up (black screen + audio). Did not record Waukeens rest because I didn’t fight. Might be some exploring xp. Hmm, rest should be in the videos

recruit companions, explore areas, complete easy quests, kill easy enemies. i think there’s a speedrun guide on how to get level 4 in like 20 minutes
I have been trying to do my own solo honor run latley and been getting destroyed but its fun either way
Oh yea, the first runs are painful as hell! It took me awhile to get into the mindset/play style of soloing in bg3. You'll get there with practice though!
