[Act 1] Solo Druid - Dror Ragzlin Dethroned - Honour Mode

- Before departing the Goblin Fortress we shall fight Dror Ragzlin. We're level 4 so we're going to have to be careful. This goes mostly according to plan!
This time we shall give Spore Druid a go. Druids are a class I have extremely little experience with, so we shall see how it goes. I did an early wipe at the very first fight outside the Grove, so we are off to a rough start. This is technically run 2, but since the first ended so fast I don't really count it.

Cancelling invisibility with shovel is a genius move, I am so using that from now on :D

See a lot of pushing mobs to their death, but that whip, pull, and drop on Ragzlin was awesome! How you liking druid so far?
I was so happy that it landed. Druid is alright so far, it's not my favorite class though. Starting to feel a bit unique to the other classes :)
Grease is so good.
I use 20 bottles of it for the halsin portal quest. Makes it a cake walk as long as you wait until halsin is on the platform and douse all torches before laying down the grease - Halsins is careless with his torch if you lay the grease before he is in position.
That portal fight is really enjoyable, one of the highlights of act 2 imo.
Boots of striding from minthara might be good in fights like these to limit the rng of knockbacks. That void bulb was really scary :D Well played as always!
True! The bulb was so damn close to ending the run. Her boots would had been nice. Although at the point when it happened I did not realize they could be carrying bulbs.
very cool! i never thought about using halo of spores to break potions, i'm definitely stealing that for my run now :p
There's a strange interaction with elixir of bloodlust and the symbiotic entity where the temp hp gets "healed" when you kill things. It's a bit busted, especially on these fights with 1000 enemies. :D
That's real sweet. I've heard about it before but I only got 1 elixir so far, not sure which fight I wish to use it for yet.

It looked like Ragzlin took 56 damage from his fall. Really good thing he (and the good bulb) didn't get to doom you to fall.
Oh yeah! 100% run over since I probably would had fallen all the way down to the spiders :)
Ah yes, the rafters above Dror Ragzlin... I was waiting for the void bulbs from the start of the video. I think I've lost 3-4 solo honour runs there: once from a void bulb, once from warlock can cast hold person, once when Dror was 1 hit from dead, I roll nat1, he dashes and gets the perfect angle on repulsor and hits me all the way into the spider pit, insta dead.
As a druid, I probably would have use the door choke point with spike growth, like you would do with HoH.
I had no clue that the warlock could cast hold person 😵💫.

With that bug where Shovel's movement indicator isn't shown you can usually just press Escape twice to open/close the menu. I always had that problem on Karlach.
And I guess Larian will never fix the dynamic ranged camera movements lol, people already complained about it in EA and not even the dynamic camera setting turns it off.
Oh I see. I think I've ran into it twice this run and not a single time last run. Really frustrating experience to be honest.

I personally prefer to use the elixir if I really need to go first/early. It is however a good feat as you mention
