I may describe Skyrim VR like it is an absolute nightmare but listen closely and you’ll be able to tell its all for fun, this game is the best and easily the best VR game by miles. Skyrim VR had none of the problems Fallout 4 VR had on release, I discuss all the things in Skyrim VR that are an absolute nightmare but overall it vastly improves Skyrim vanilla and Bethesda did a great job. I do feela few things were missing from the release of Skyrim VR but these can easily be fixed with a few mods, I consider modding Skyrim VR an absolute necessity , without it perhaps Skyrim VR really is an absolute nightmare…

This wasn't really about the money, I know it's a little silly, but I consider this video a turning point in my life for a lot of reasons.
I left my job to do CZcams soon after it, but I also saw it as the biggest achievement of my life the day it came out, I really am super proud of it. I didn't like the idea of the revenue going to someone else, this is my baby and I love it...

Concerning the "You can't see at night" argument, if you go somewhere far away from cities and bright lights, the moon and stars actually light up the area around you quite a bit. Obviously in places like forests this is different, but in open spaces its not that difficult.
Regarding Witcher vs Skyrim and the graphical presentation: I think Witcher never actively went for the classic RPG/D&D tone that Skyrim did. Magic as a whole is very toned down, especially on the main character and the line between monsters and humans is very blurry. So it makes sense that they chose and overall more realistic approach to the presentation.
Skyrim on the other hand goes full fantasy world from start to finish.
it's just the fantastical enviorments in skyrim, it's obviously unrealistic, but i mean it's a fantasy game, if i wanted to experience real life, i'd just go outside.
i don't really care if something objectively doesn't 'make sense' as long as its implemented in a fun and interesting way.

This was the first game i've played in VR and thanks to my brother he modded the hell outta it and oh lord, this game felt like i was 10 again playing with my Legos and creating my own world and adventure. Gladly I only played Vanilla Skyrim so my experience and added stuff was just fcking awesome.
You are absolutely brilliant. I stumbled on your Gordon Ramsey Souffle video first and then when checking out what else you had, I saw the Skyrim VR one. As a huge Tales of the Elder scrolls in whatever version fan, I had to check it out. It's one of my favourite universes. I don't have VR yet but I may have to investigate it just so I can check out the VR version of Skyrim. Thank you for your awesome and entertaining videos

UpisNotJump is literally the only CZcamsr where I stop everything I'm doing to watch his newest video.
There's a mod called Dragon Dogfights which makes Dragons seek out other dragons and duel them, the only issue is eventually all the dragons on the map are in one place so fighting them is almost impossible, I had about 25 of them around solitude ranging from scrub level lizards to flying vistas of my inevitable demise, it makes search and destroy missions for the dragons basically mandatory and if you want to play Skyrim with a little more urgency it's great
