My first journey from the new terminal building of Abhdhabi International Airport. They can complete procedures for 11000 passengers and operate 79 flights in an hour. It is one of the biggest airport terminals in the world. It is 7,42,000 sq/m in size. My friend Dr Sajad and myself flew with budget airline Visa Air to Almaty, Kazakhstan. @Sujith, small correction. The terminal had a soft opening only on Nov 1,2023. The official opening ceremony as per news is scheduled on Feb. 9, 2024 when the terminal will be named after the late President H.H. Sh. Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan (may Allah have mercy on him) - Zayed International Terminal.

Abudabi, a rich country, is the capital of uae with about 15 lakh people and 1000 sq.km. Considering the per capita income no Indian state is anywhere near it. We cannot compare uae with India. India has just begun to construct world class projects and hope we can build many in the future.

Trichy airport is one of the small airports in India, wen u want to compare with uae airport, u may compare with Delhi, Mumbai , Bangalore etc. here only king commands in India being huge country and it democracy set up it has to go through several stages.
