- Hi everyone!
Here is my 2nd attempt at the soap challenge club for June 2020.
If you want to see my first one, check out the video uploaded earlier in June... aka How Not to Pour the One Pot Wonder.
I used all Nurture Soap colorants-
Neon Green, Neon Purple, Queen for a Day, Midnight Blue, activated charcoal, and black oxide.
I also used a touch of titanium dioxide, from Brambleberry.
The scent I used is called Snow Witch, from Muddy Soap co, which I am Obsessed with. It behaved perfectly and has such a strong throw!
Thank you for watching, I hope you enjoyed the blend of text, talking, and music.

I really like this one. Green and Purple together is just perfect. And it's great to hear you.
Jim Meeker I’m so glad you enjoyed it, thank you for taking the time to leave a nice comment as well! You are always so supportive in our soap challenge FB group as well. It’s so lovely to see such positivity!
Not great?? Are you kidding? I LOVE IT!👍👏👏👏🙌
It wasn't what I wanteddddd. So I was mad at it. This happens often here.
Welp, I had a double fail today! After trying the watermelon one and failing, I decided to go for this one. Everything was going well, I made EXTRA sure not to over mix, but I REALLY wanted to use dragons blood FO. I knew it would discolor and had reports of it slightly accelerating, so I decided to only use a small amount and only in the black portion. It totally glopped up so when I got the black portion it plopped into the mold. It will be interesting to see what it looks like! I'm having a stamp made for it, so hopefully that will help! Your soaping skills are my goals! I have to keep trying!
Oh no! Yes, this technique depends on a fluid fragrance oil to behave. I’m so sorry you had two naughty ones in a row, that can be so frustrating.
I love this color pallet. It makes me think of Frankenstein, which is one of my favorites!
Thank you! Me tooo
You did a nice job narrating the video. I was unable to read all the subtitles in your last video, so I missed a lot. Great job! Thanks for sharing.
Karolyn Skudlarek I’m so glad this was easier for you, I read quickly, and forget that at times, so I tried to address that in this one by narration and leaving the text for longer periods of time.
Thank you for being kind enough to take the time to leave a comment and excellent feed back!
Oooih these are beautiful I really really love these colors!! They really pop!! And the feathering looks great!! ❤️
Thank you so much!
The colors are awesome! Definitely giving me Halloween vibes🤩 I love that design too
Bellessentials Handmade thank you!
Beautiful! Great video. Thank you for sharing.
Jeannette Cain thank you for taking the time to leave a nice comment! It means so much to me!
I loved it! I'll show my 5 year old tomorrow - she'll love it. :-) Your narration is fantastic!
Rachel Cohen-Miller I’m so glad you enjoyed it! I hope your daughter did too! I have a 4 year old daughter, who Also loves soap videos!
Love it!
Ann Wild so glad you enjoyed the video!
I really enjoy your videos!
Christa DeLano thank you for taking the time to tell me! It means a great deal to me! I’m glad you enjoy them!
Really nice!
Micol T thank you!
Love that you narrated this. The subtitles stress me out 😂😂
Emma Berry I had them set toooo fast on top of it, but I’m trying to do a blend of both. I’m so glad you loved this!
This has been a fun challenge. I've been using it with other soaps too. What made you finally decide on your entry? I feel like it would be hard to pick a contender since you have so many good batches.
J & W Soaps well, who knows if it was the right choice, but I felt like the extra feathering in the Surfs Up bars were closer to what we were ‘supposed’ to be making.
Nice soap and the video is great. I like your explanations. Also, do you sometimes notice that some fragrances act funny because of the milk in it? I use goat milk as well and some of my fragrances behave really bad bc of it.
Barbara Soap_solution I haven’t had that happen... yet. Though I’m sure it will one day.
Where do you get your silk from?
I get mine from a few different vendors- but my current one is The Woolery
The fragrance has "great throw"? I'm sorry but what does that mean?
It means that it keeps a strong smell after it’s made. Many fragrances do not remain as strong after the soap is made. This one does!
@@CheekyGoatSoapery thank you
