Can you teach us the proper technique of throwing a spear?
The force starts from your foot and goes up your back. Your back strength will determine how hard you throw the spear, the spring motion from your foot will give it speed, and your arm is mostly just for aiming.

By the way, Adam, what about modifying some throwing terminology: I mean, when you throw a spear or a sword in the spear manner, that's a real "no spin", but when you throw knives or other things "no spin", in fact it's a half-spin because we need to start counting from the back position. So, what they call half-spin is in fact a full spin and so on.
No one is as good at throwing knifes as u your awesome at everything

You should be fine. Gennerally helps if you distort and/or flip the image as well.

Doesn't your company make spears or spearheads? You could try using those. IDK much about spears.
Here because just saw warrior poet society hang out with masiah tribe. Then I'm going to your African spear video.
If you ever get a good spear with great balance distribition it makes a lot of difference after 10m it has a slightly less of an angle but it helps a lot.

I wasnt expecting the edits nice touch that spear seems awkward it just wanted to dive straight to the ground would holding further back on the handle help push the front up to compensate for the drop buuuuut knowing you you probably tried that lol

At the end of the day, you could make a spear on your own. Its not really that hard to make and you can use whatever steel you want and balance it whatever you feel like. Just a suggestion

Give the Cold Steel Samburu spear line a shot they are rather affordable and are supposed to be rather good

I'm consistent at 30 feet 4 out of 5 center target hits with my homemade spartan spears made from rake handles.

You should have been a Spartan :-) 10 meters is probably the limit for reasonable accuracy. I love the '300' clips!

JUAN CARLOS Queden If it bends than maybe a file if it breaks off maybe bench grinder, I don't recommend this spear. Look up on youtube tac m48 spear. You will see a review on it and the spear was just awful.

In the right conditions, what do you think would be the max range for a spear?
With the custom one and more practice i am sure it could be even 90-100 meters like you see in Olympic games..its basically same thing
