It is so extremely important that we in the West vote for the right pro-Ukrainian politicians both in the US and in Europe. In the EU we have an upcoming election and there it is important that we are active and get good politicians who want to help Ukraine and thus ourselves.
Well, it won't be a problem in Finland, because none of the Finnish parties support Russia, at least not the Finnish parliamentary parties, and you can't even talk about the "parties" that support Russia on the same day as other parties because their support is at most a couple of percent...

We must never accept air raid sirens as normal.
I downloaded the Air Alerts app, one where actor Mark Hamill (of Star Wars fame) lent his voice to warn Ukrainians of incoming attacks and to tell them to take shelter. I had to delete that app after about a month because the alerts kept going all day (night time in Ukraine) and all night (day time in Ukraine) and I was losing sleep that affected my health. I can't imagine what it is like for the Ukrainians to have to deal with these alerts, these dangers for real - all day - all night. I recommended this app to friends for them to get the feel, especially at night, what it is like to have someone trying to murder you in your sleep every night. Brave, brave Ukrainians! The Kerch Bridge along with Russian oil refineries are all not long for this world. At some point the destruction of its economic infrastructure and sanctions will lead to a Russian collapse. All glory to the new, independent and free republics that will emerge.

There was NOTHING anyone could really do until Speaker Johnson finally changed his nind and brought it up for a vote and it passed easily with big majorities in the House and Senate. There was NO way to override Speaker Johnson's decision to block this vote.

40 billion dollars was the aid provided by the United States for the last two years. The 61 billion dollars approved during the past week is 150% of the past two years. With the F16s coming in on top of that the math shows a big turnaround in the war should occur. It is important that the aid arrives asap.
