    Belt drive and internal geared hub would make this bike a dream

    I have a 2015 HaiBike Xdurorx29r with over 6000 miles and going strong, new battery was about it other than chains & a cassette!

    I love the more traditional frame style on this bike. Is this model available in Canada and does it come with a belt drive/Enviolo combination?

    Excellent video , only problem is no one seems to have them in stock anywhere 🙄 and having to wait a month for delivery if you're paying £2500 is just not on I'm rethinking what I'm going to get as waiting for the bike is not good 😐

      Yes, sadly there are huge shortages everywhere.
      Is it the trekking style in particular that you're looking for? There seems to be more electric hardtails around, which can have various accessories added to make it more like a trekking bike. That way, you get to do a bit more customisation. Some people, for example, don't ride at night, so don't need the lights.
      Feel free to get in touch with your nearest showroom if you need a hand finding something.

    Can i take out the battery and charge it seperate from the bike?

    • @energisee-bikes6475
      @energisee-bikes6475  Před 3 lety +2

      Yes, you can Monika. I didn't show it in the video but it's possible. The black panel on the underside of the bike will come away using a key. Then you turn the key again to release the battery.

    IT WILL NEVER BE ALL-IN-ONE REGRETTABLY FOR ONE SIMPLE REASON. ITS NOT BELT-DRIVEN

  • @dennisshaykar9325
    @dennisshaykar9325 Před rokem +1

    WHAT? ALL THAT THOUGHT GOING INTO THE ENGINEERING OF THIS BIKE AND YET IT USES THE OLD CHAIN STYLE AND IS NOT BELT-DRIVEN.

      I think you left your CAPS LOCK on Dennis.
      Belt drives can increase the price tag of bikes by a significant amount. Manufacturers have to decide if it is worth making a bike more expensive. No point engineering a bike that never sells because it's too expensive.

      @@energisee-bikes6475 FIRST OF ALL, CAPS ALLOW ME TO SEE AND READ EASIER CONSIDERING MY POOR EYESIGHT. AS FAR AS BELT-DRIVE ADDITIONAL COSTS I AM ALMOST CERTAIN SOME BRIGHT DESIGN ENGINEER SOMEWHERE IS ALREADY WORKING ON IT. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

    • @energisee-bikes6475
      @energisee-bikes6475  Před rokem +2

      @@dennisshaykar9325 YES, I'M SURE THEY ARE WORKING ON IT.
      WE ARE INDEED STARTING TO SEE BELT DRIVE COMING THROUGH ON THE DUTCH-STYLE STEPTHROUGH E-BIKES AS THE LOW-MAINTENANCE 'LIFESTYLE' BIKE, BUT SALES OF THESE ARE A LITTLE SLOW BECAUSE OF THE PRICE. IT IS A SIGN, HOWEVER, THAT BELT DRIVE WILL BECOME MORE COMMON...IF THE MANUFACTURERS CAN KEEP COSTS DOWN.

      Hi, new subscriber here 👋 do you have any belt drive bikes for sale? If so any that you’d recommend..I’m drawn to the Gazelle range but would like to compare it so something else just make a more informed decision.

      @@MM-pb1se Hi, I think we only have the Gazelle Ultimate C5 with belt drive at the moment. Everything else is chain driven.
