Am I the only one who LOOOVES the Hydro Boost scent? Anyone? :)
I think it’s refreshing. Personally it’s one that didn't seem to bother my nose or skin. However I started just avoiding most fragrant stuff since my skin is sensitive and it’s hard to know what’s causing an issue.

Thanks for your review. I just don't understand why manufacturers continue to add fragrance to otherwise good products. It makes no sense. If you want to smell good rely on a body fragrance, not your face moisturizer. With that said, scented body lotions are just as bad and long term can potentially cause irritation even if you can't see it. The garbage they sell at Bath & Body Works should be avoided at all costs. Even scented candles can be an issue.

Eventually they will come out with an unscented version, but for a company that is centered on healthy skin, I fail to understand why they insist on shoving so d*!m much fragrance into all their skincare products at all. They serve no useful purpose other than to make people think they like it more.
This gets on my nerves so bad! As someone who can’t use fragrance.. but now I feel like most ppl know better than to apply perfume to their face like this. But then I read reviews on great products I like & see ppl complaining how it doesn’t “smell good” & see good reviews on irritating creams saying “they smell so good!” Smh

I used it for the first time and the same day I put that cream on my face got lighter and it felt so smooth on my skin I give this product 10/10

I’m looking for a good night cream. Currently use Hydroboost pressed and then spray rose water and add Cerave in the tub on top of the Hydroboost, and then add a layer of aquaphor. Amazingly my skin dries out in some areas (anywhere not my T zone) even with all of this. I need a good night cream, will search your channel for a good rec! Ty for the review!

I agree! My skin does not like this particular product. I am a huge neutrogena fan but this product caused itching and fine little bumps on my face. I was so excited to add this product to my facial regimen only for it to be irritating. I will go back to the hydrogel boost.
I have sensitive skin and I haven't had any problems from the fragrance. It's not that strong in my opinion.

I've been using this for a few months and was blaming so many other products for my sudden dry skin, the dry/scaley skin under my eyes and by my cheeks. and after watching this, i think i now realize its this product. thank you.
So happy that you found this review helpful! This product can be strangly drying after using it several times in a row. Perhaps the Acure Radically Rejuvenating Whipped Night Cream might work better for you.
I use the unfragranced one and I absolutely love this product You should look into the unfragranced one I think you would like it! It works very very well my face is super hydrated and soft in the morning!
They don't have an unfragranced version of this. You're probably referring to the gel cream. This is different.

So happy to help, this product was so terrible for my skin. A lot of times I'll pass down products that didn't work for me to friends and family, but this one is so bad i won't even do that. And I'm not even willing to use this one on my body, either.
I wish companies would stop adding fragrance!! I’ve had to do fragrance free since I was pregnant w my middle child 15 yrs ago & ended up w a fragrance allergy from olay cleanser. Feel like in 2020 most ppl know it’s so bad to leave perfume on their face 🤷♀️
Does this have the same fragrance as the other Hydro Boost Gel-Creams? Or is it different ? And is this really that different than the regular one ?
I just put this on and looked for a video, I’m itching it off like crazy and these rubberized piled rolls are flaking off my face from the scratching. 😑 I immediately knew there was dimethicone in it which is like the second ingredient the second I put it on my face because it matified my face. Is there any reason that dimethicone is necessary in this product or has any benefit? Also is there any reason it could be not so beneficial? I thought Dimethicone was a cosmetic ingredient for aesthetics only
My moisturizer contains sodium lauryl Sulfate (even more irritating than Sodium laureth sulfate). I use this moisturizer to seal in the tretinoin that I use before it. It contains Linalool and limonene. Fortunately, I don't get any irritation.
I don't mind alcohol but strong fragrance is a big no no. Only other pressed serum I've tried was from Lumene but I don't remember what I thought about it. Guess that sais it all... 😁
Wish I would’ve seen this before I spent the $16😬 I just tried it for the first time and it’s irritating my skin and the scent is so strong

Did you apply moisturizer after using this product? I didn’t know if I should apply moisturizer or not.
You would put moisturizer on under this. This is the top layer and is used to seal in everything

They make a hydro boost cream without fragrance so that will be optimal. I bought the hydro boost gel and can't stand the scent...do not understand why companies think slathering scent on the face is appealing. But in the end, I think The Ordinary's Hyaluronic Acid is the best...no fragrance, it's inexpensive and does the job.
Well, I just started using this product and so far is doing a great job, btw, I have sensitive skin and can't tolerate scented product, but suprisely this serum has a pleasant fragance that is not irritating, smells like medicine, the fragance to me is not strong aa other fragances, is tolerable and believe me, I have a sentivive skin that would of react to any irritating product in less than 2 hours, so far I do recommended it, I combine it with my other liquid serum and so far they both work greatly good.
I have been using this for a little over a month and I also have very sensitive and reactive skin, and it hasn't irritated my face at all. And I don't think the fragrance is anywhere as bad as she makes it sound... I hope that you're able to stay non irritated, I know the pain that comes with sensitive skin.

Yeah, I mean it's her channel and she is allowed her own opinions, but it seems to me that she might need to educate herself a little more on products and ingredients used in skincare, and it wouldn't hurt for her to at least act like she's not so completely bored in her videos...

So, only the gel cream version that is fragrance free? People keep talking about fragrance free products everywhere, but why do most brands still include parfum? My skin does not react badly to it but sometimes the scent is annoying, gives me headache...

Hi Sarah another dud. Despite the latest sunscreen debacle I am still going to buy, use and love my Korean beauty. i'm sad to see so many comments on various channels saying they're going to stop using K beauty. One sunscreen is not a whole category of products, nor is it a reflection on the many wonderful products available from that realm. Does it make me want to avoid the SUNSCREENS made in that particular lab - yes, but not everything. It could have happened to any brand and has previously, without the vitriol aimed at the overall skincare industry around those other brands. There is a lot of choice of affordable fragrance free skincare available from Korea and this is what I want to buy. i also buy some Western skincare for specific ingredients etc.
Neutrogena has some old favourites of mine - their hand cream and body moisturiser (both fragrance free) i've used for years. Their skincare isn't as impressive to me. There are a lot of hydrating gel creams available for less money from other companies and I'm not a big HA fan anyway. It's a pass from me. Best wishes.

I should've watched this vid before I purchased. I have almost the entire hydroboost line and LOVE it. I was excited to get this night cream to help my skin overnight. Just used it 10 mins ago and is already disappointed. I was FURIOUS when I saw there was STRONG fragrance in it. NO MA'AM! I cannot put such harsh things on my face. I was sure that they would make the might cream unscented but I'm so disappointed. $20 wasted on something I cant even used because of the fragrance. I can manage with the water gel daily but the pressed serum AND the water gel is too harsh for me. I'm gonna try to return it tomorrow. Too expensive for something I cant even use
Hello, you can use those products for other parts of your body that are not that sensitive. I find it useful instead of wasting products
Shame about the plastic packaging and the fragrance. At least this one doesn’t have drying alcohol and the blue colour in the cream.

Neutrogena definitely has the resources to create a much better product than they did with this one. I was hoping to love this, but TOO scented, maybe they'll create a fragrance free version of this.
