It’s NEW ZEALAND! Nobody is “stunned” by the Haka being done. Everybody does it. It’s for celebrations and for showing respect.
The New Zealand constitution is one of the few to officially apologize to the Māoris for taking their land!

CZcams reaches beyond New Zealand my friend. For those of us on the "Other Side of the World", & speaking for all of us "Nobodies", Especially here in America, I for one Am Stunned! And I have to admit to feeling Embarrassed by the actions of my Forefathers and my Race. If you look at America and what it is Now compared to what it was like 200 years ago, you have to wonder why? Why all the Destruction of Nature and the people who had Tended it so Remarkably and Reverently? Millions of acres of Old Growth mowed down. Untold Billions of Indigenous Life, entire Species Wiped Out? No thought of the future, and no examination of what they were destroying.

The most beautiful thing I’ve ever witnessed brought me to tears
What???? All she did is make herself look silly
if you think this is beautiful you are either their tribe or you are a white liberal. i am asian and i think this shit is cringe
Its incredibly silly, I cringe every time I see these things.

Watching this brought tears to my eyes, for some one, loving her country, and beileiving in her historical traditions .
I felt that I don’t know what she was saying but I felt that!
As a Jamaican: I endorse her message.✊🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Bless up MP Hana- Rawhiti Maipi- Clarke.
Just shows that Idiots can be in high office.
@RepentandbelieveinJesusChrist0 amen

I agree. What was the message?
Does Jamaica even have a government. Official language is English and the Jamaican dollar
❤she is a warrior at heart ..to protect her people and culture of an indigenous tribe. Respect for the courage and authenticity she exudes 😊
Respect? For what? For her disrespecting the entire parliament?
For putting her own wishes before any other?
Nothing about what she did is respectful. It's inappropriate and damn right insulting!
We can not let idealized kids run or manipulate any government, she's just a kid, barely out of school!
She knows absolutely NOTHING about the real world!
It's disgusting, that's what it is!
Haha "civilized garden".
Thank God we living in a jungle 😂
Wait till war starts and she says I am just a Girl.. or plays victim card like other women and hides in a metro station 😂😂😂 women 😂😂
I just remember what Ranigaidunlui of India would look like
There are things in every culture to protect and preserve. What if every culture decided to do such things inside the parliament...LOL. That is why we set up cultural programs and festivals.
Seriously, she gave me goose bumps. So proud of her and her people. In fact she is my people. ❤
This gave me such a rush of power, joy and pride. Goda bless this young woman and all like her.
Goosebumps our parliament is far away from this
This is a gesture of someone who will stand as a voice for her people, rather than use their role for personal gain.
I guess in a sense it is personal gain, fighting for your people, but it is good in this case because her priorities are ethical, rather than hedonistic.
Far from what? Acting like an animal? 😮
@@cooliipiejealous much? Is it because your people don't have a culture? 😂😂
What, a comedy show?
@@cooliipiebrave of you to put your ignorance on display like that.
This brought me to tears! There is something so immensely powerful about this
Me too! If everyone in politics had half this passion for the people they serve..
me too!
Shit! Even I'm crying
100 percent.
Same
I’ve seen this so much, I’m not surprised
As the son of Azania, this gives me a feeling that I cannot explain, a cry, a joy, sense of pride to my sister. Rise & never forget where you are coming from.
I had seen this in rugby matches but now in diffrent situation still it inspires many 👏
Haha "civilized garden".
Thank God we living in a jungle 😂
my anglo saxon blood warmed me from tip to toe to see such a proud woman in position to remind the people who and were they hail from. Massive respect, echt strijdvolk!!! ❤
She's a communist
Shame the anglos are demonised for doing the same in their own nations.
sounds to me that you felt threatened . its divine intervention channelled thru this Lady .
@@PHlophe cringe jibberish
Anglo saxon? Jij bent nederlander,toch?
I got goosebumps. Powerful!
May our ancestors continue to stand strong in her corner, guide her and protect ❤❤❤
This girl has heart. I hope she goes far, and does a lot for the people
That won’t happen, she’s a waste of time, her speech was just her complaining.
She's a communist
Stay strong young lady, you got this and you can tell your people have your back.
Now days every Parliament Better then any Reality Show...
Is there any way I could like this more than just a click? I am so proud of her to let the whole world feel her passion for her people and heritage through her language.
To take away someone's language is to erase the person's identity, dignity, culture and heritage!
❤💯🤗
No it isn't and you should instead be questioning your own attachment to this stuff. Are you saying she speaks a language that is going to become outlawed? Either way, the video was cringe.
@@boocackeedquackhead8454shut up you yt witch.
@@boocackeedquackhead8454no the language won’t be outlaw just like mine you worthless trash go crawl back in the burrows or caves you come from you twat.
Wow that was POWERFUL to watch!!! It’s time the world sees what honor is!
You don't know the context. She's a Nutter......I live in NZ. She made a fool of herself.
NZ Maoris have been in NZ for approx 150 years. They came from Tahiti They raped, murdered & stole the original inhabitants land. They are the youngest melanated culture in the world as it is mongrelised from Tahiti & the original inhabitants of NZ.
So wierd
It reminded me of whose I am 🙏🏽
VERY IMPRESSIVE-I'M NOT FROM THERE BUT SHE HAS MY VOTE AND RESPECT
Respect from Tunisia
As a Polynesian , once you bring culture into these type of gatherings its just different.🙌🏽 Respect!
As an American, once you put a person on the moon in the 1960's its just different!
Don’t be fooled by her facade, her full speech was just her complaining. It might look cool at first, but she’s going to do bugger all in parliament!
