The unity and respect shown at the end was perfect. Well done and much love and respect to all of my indigenous and Māori brothers from a white Australian.
Respect right back at you brother, the future is looking brighter, it’s time for indigenous to shine. These are the rare and valuable assets/taonga to both our families, communities and countries. Role model and others will see the benefits in this modern world (Te Ao Hurihuri. You can’t this anywhere else in the world. Absolutely stunning 🔥🔥🔥
"A moment of silence to acknowledge the stolen generations" i am descended from the Taino people on the island of Puerto Rico. That sentence really resonated with me.
The visibly upset Maori player at 0.40 secs of the video seeing the Indigenous reflection on the Stolen generation was so poignant and respectful. So much love for our Maori, Pasifika and Indigenous brothers. Well done boys. This is has been the best game of this series.
I love that even in this modern era people haven’t forgotten their ancestral ties and traditions. This was incredibly powerful to watch two nations come together demonstrating their warrior spirit
Being a Maori who was fostered out to a nice halfcast aboriginal family as a kid was actually such a experience love my aboriginal family frs miss them to this day love them forever to find out I was Polynesian Maori heart broke me because I wasn't a blood related to my adopted family hurt but they always said I'll always be there family and they'll love me forever man love my aboriginal culture

Can literally feel the mana (power) through the screen! Beautiful to witness both indigenous peoples together showing strength and respect 😭😭♥️♥️♥️♥️🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
I love this. I had tears in my eyes for each culture showing a bit of who they are. I'm Native American but I can say Native to Native it still has the same pride and unity.❤
As a white fella, watching this is awesome to see. Love seeing these two cultures come together and show us how it should be. Keep growing the indigenous game! 👍
Through all, both our cultures pain and suffering. We express our passion for who we are, through our spiritual dance. It wasn’t a war dance. It was a dance of cultural expression. Much love always to our indigenous cultures…. We all winners❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
My brother is indigineous so I wasn’t really that mad about the loss and proud of his culture for winning it. at the end of the day I just really enjoyed the match and it was close. I just hope for my maōri boys to win the next all stars match. was good game 🖤🤍❤️ 🤝 🖤💛❤️
Win or lose These Two teams have already got something special. Already that will carryon in the future which is honour, respect, And Aroha.(love) Magnificent.
Watching this on Christmas morning and in many ways it's a beautiful representation of cultures and respect. Something we usually cherish and remember during this time of the year.
Wonderful histoy of both nations here. The Haka was first performed on a RU field when the NZ team (the Natives) toured UK in around 1890. In Wales the local spectators replied with their National Anthem which is believed to be the first time a NA was performed before a sporting event. A War Dance was performed by the Kangaroos in 1908 after the mighty Newtown Bluebags performed it at home game. It was ceased in the 1960's
This is one of the greatest respect of a culture! We need more sports events with this kind of fight! I, as a Brazilian, would love to watch one of our rich and vast indigenous fight cultures defending our nation in a sport event.
Chur to my sister and brothers 1st nation and pakeha australians who actually love our cultures , language show up please on new constitutional change voice etc we want your love darug my adopted language 4eva bb Maori roots best of all worlds heard
Wow i love how the aboriginal culture get to display their culture on TV now it's absolutely beautiful as maori i encourage aboriginal people to be proud of your culture and to never be shy to show who yous are tu kotahi tatau.
I'm Mexican American. My mother has Tarahumara/Raramuri on her side and my father has Comanche on his side. This was beautiful. Also got me pumped up before going to work. Makes me feel spiritually confident in myself again.
Viewing haka is for me always emotionally affecting. Each time it makes me wonder if my Viking ancestors 30 or 35 generations ago had a similar ceremonial practice.
@@shreeraaman1667 Thank you for asking, Mr r, but I'm not -- even though my parents were immigrants to the US just before the outbreak of WW II. I'm embarrassed to state that I know very little about the so-called 'pagan' religion in which the Vikings believed prior to their acceptance of Christianity in the 10th century.
State of Origin - Original States. This is IMO better than SoA. All of the comments here seems to align with the general theme. The amount of good, genuine respect for culture has, in society. Amazing to see these leaders teach the next generation, controlled power. I think that both the dance (sorry from not knowing its name) and haka was recognised for what it was. Here is our best! We're showing you our most! We're summoning support to be at our utmost. Please do the same. For the First Nations People to know, show and recognise that, was the best. Great respect for the NRL living the path to cultural inclusively. I'd love to see all NRL teams send an observer to these. That way they can bring this back to the regions they represent.
Love to see it, Māori’s definitely won the pre game! I reckon a bit more passion from the All stars, a bit more smack talking in language and more didge for sure and you got a winner! That conch was dope, well done all round!
I love this and this is what I been wanting not comparing but something like Maori haka aswell as bagpipes from Scotland yk traditional viking chant from Norway?
Man, I'm a white American and we don't have anything that cool in our sports. We sing the anthem, we have entrance music, but THIS? This puts all that to shame. Cheers from NYC.
I can't wait until the Aboriginal give the Maaroi a hard time on the field when it comes to haka because then its going to be a match for the world to see. I love to see the aboriginal tribes coming alive when it comes to their way of war because it shows so much of their history in one setting as does the haka Maaori. Ti Hei Maariora
It's not "versus", it's cultural exchange, freely given, freely received, & with deep mutual respect.
well put!
one world
it's scaring anyway
The unity and respect shown at the end was perfect. Well done and much love and respect to all of my indigenous and Māori brothers from a white Australian.
How very virtuous of you.
@@mjh5437 Not really, it's just how I viewed it.
Cheers bro coming from a Maori, much appreciated and much love from NZ.
You should apologise for being a white coloniser

Aboriginals don’t have warrior spirit lol the Aboriginals were not a warrior society like the Māoris.
Newsflash for you....there is nothing traditional about the aboriginal dance. They just made it up pffft.
@@memine3704 source for your claim…?
@@ruthlessgaming3869yeah we were more art focused. But we did have warriors, not all of our cultures were the same some were more fighting focused

White Supremacism & Racism pure & simple.
There’s two many indigenous cultures and indigenous Australians aren’t viewed the same as indigenous New Zealanders (Māori)
