A really tough game, good to see Brisbane win gritty for a change.

All my years Iâve never seen such a more obvious forward pass
They have just let forward passes go so much that itâs actually gone beyond a joke, these guys donât even attempt to pass it back !

@@deodrasshelios7957I think itâs worse these days⊠or definitely inexcusable with all the technology. Iâm watching the replay now and the pass was obviously forward⊠why canât the bunker rule on forward passes on tries.
I hope they saw how Cobbo eats a lot fo meters when given the ball. They need to find a way to feed him going forward. There needs to be plays designed for him too!
He's playing fullback bro not much you can do when he's not a playmaker like Walsh. When he plays wing or centre he has designed plays. But fullback no chance
So touching the player after a a kick or drop goal is now a muddy rule that is either enforced or not depending on how the ref feels???..what a joke.
Great game - Manly major errors (basics and decision-making) were about 3 of these that cost them certain points and in the end about -8/-10pts.
Broncos managed to do enough to hold on after scoring 2 tries and seemingly not putting enough together to gain more points.
think the bronx might have been a bit gun shy without a couple of their playmakers and didn't want to make more unforced errors than they needed to. played a conservative defensive game. I expect they'll make bigger plays against the titans next week.

Reuben Garrick is so selfish in try scoring opportunities. Not just tonight but all other matches I've watched.
Selwin for me was playing out of his skin. He's kick returns were fantastic though he had an error. Jocky was great and Oatsy had better hit ups than some foreards for sure.

Make up call. Broncos should have a had a fresh set on Manly's line while they were down to 10 but somehow wasn't called
@@Toast2005 that occurs multiple times during the game when a 6 again is called for nothing and then when something worse happens it get let go. But to call a penalty for absolutely not a high tackle at that time of the games is just absurd ahah

Hey can anyone explain how Majic round is always at Suncorp and is always an away game for the Broncos. NRL need to stop babying this team its been going on since day one.
Same with the grand final always in Sydney?
Bigger stadium and it is a Sydney based comp, 4 teams for all of Qld.
Rupert owns the team and half the NRL, magic round should be in states where the game is looking grow, Melbourne or Perth? Share the love.

Itâs a strategic decision to grab more money.

Also since the NRL decide when Magic round is why has it always fallen on a Broncos away week. Manly were the better team Bronc's never looked like scoring after the first 12 mins but the Sea Eagles bombed three tries and that should have been a penalty after DCE was hit from the attempted field goal, this has been penalised except for tonight.
Better team? Mate I just checked the stats and it quite clearly shows it was a pretty even match. No stat was dominated by either team

It's a disgrace how the NRL looks after the Broncos. How can it be a Sea Eagles home game playing at the Broncos home ground? not only that but when the Dolphins have a home game against the Broncos, they have to again play at the Broncos home ground

They get the ticket revenue. This has nothing to do with the Broncos or the refs... Its completely upto Manly... so no-one is looking after the Broncos.

Agree, they ran out of edge early in this game despite skill and Manly choked a lot of points with simple handling and decison-making errors too.

Relying on too much on talent won't win a 80mins game of football, game IQ and better coaching is required when guys a gassed out.
Referee really tried to make manly win this game. Many penalties were given to them for no reason, there was numerous forward passes, including one right before their first try, but we still won.

Also more so we ainât at full strength at least if Walsh played wouldâve opened up our attack but tonight they pretty much just played hit ups then kick on the last simple footy
I was actually proud of the boys, playing a really good team and actually playing better than we have the last two weeks
Even with refs help manly couldn't winđ blatant forward pass try = 6pts
Penalty although soft it's still a penalty within the rules = 1 pt
