They took it to the extreme that sometimes they're replacing oem parts with parts that are worse than oem. Good example is the coilovers they gave low car which should have been atleast tein flex z or some br from bc racing
They're basically modding low for the sake of being able to call the car modified without considering if the mods will make the car better, which is the main point of modifying a car.
Most of my rants are only against what they did on low car but I don't know why hi car is also not doing well.

Well itÂŽs the guy coming up from behind that has to watch where he sticks his nose in especially when heÂŽs not that much faster. The exact same guy almost lost it twice just one or two laps later.
I saw that too - just a bit of track inexperience and trying to commentate. his mind is all over the place and was off the line. I can see why the lotus pulled in to pass him.

Some of the people that were at the track day were just there because they probably believe they are fast drivers for having fast cars because quite a few of them were breaking really hard on the corners and not taking the proper line

@@David-xl8zf Totally agree, I did one lap of the Nurburgring (my first time on a track) and it was so mentally stressful I don't think I smiled or blinked for the whole lap but afterward the joy of doing it was immense!
You could literally see one of the hairs on his chin turning grey every time he took a corner.
There is a magic moment in racing between a driver and his car. Where there is just you and your project against the clock. No talking. No fun and games. Just pure concentration on the goal!
So much fun seeing you guys have such a good time! I'm smiling throughout the whole video.

The trackday made me think, one cool subject for future videos could be our boys taking a track instructor onboard, to see what time you could gain and the process behind it. Could be very interesting !

Became a massive BRZ fan recently. Just stumbled across this series yesterday and watched the entire thing. Every single episode. Wow, what a roller coaster ride! I absolutely love this, i love this series and the walk-through of the build, and the finale was tremendous!

As a mechanic, I've forgotten to properly fasten the splash shield a couple of times.
I'm quite familiar with that sound, and recognized it almost immediately :P

Moog you definitely proved why toyota/subaru made that car in the first place. Your face, experience, and the way you tackled this project proves that. They basically wanted to create the same opportunity that was given to the earlier generation which have now received cult status. Its a pre determined Canvas with holes to fill in. Well done Mate. Great episode, great series! Would love to see you guys race each other in your slowest cars. Then the loser can swap to their next quickest car until you have used all your cars. It'd also be a great way to have a leader board of all the track times of all the cars you own then
Does Moog have a slow car? I'd say they should race the Mini against the Mira... but that wouldn't be a fair race. Maybe the mini vs the SuperTurbo?

So, question? Why use stretched tyres on track. This does not let the tyres preform the way the should. Releasing pressure helps but if u use the correct with is the best.
Yeah the tyres are definitely poor fitment for track work. That said the standard PS4 (which I believe these are) doesnât have a very stiff sidewall, so actually mild stretch may stop them flexing too much.
BRZ needs more grip to realise chassis potential though!
Looks like they stretched them so they don't rub on the guards under aggressive cornering.

It would be better if he refitted the original front ARB and set the rear ARB to mid or high and then finished off with a roll centre correction kit.
