- Betcha By Golly Wow was written by Thom Bell and Linda Creed and originally sung by Connie Stevens in 1970. But it was the version of Stylistics in 1972 that launched it into prominence and made it one of the most memorable R&B classics of the 70's era. Alright!!! Great cover!!! First thing that I noticed was the saxophone player, who played the intro wonderfully!!! Then was pleasantly surprised by the gentleman’s lead vocals!!! I wasn’t expecting the quality in his voice and he had so much soul!!! Overall, a great performance!!! ☮️🖖🏽

Amazing cover, the only flaw is that the guy sang the wrong verses from the 3rd to the 5th on the first part.
Noticed that as I was singing along hahaha, they still rock it though
For sure, that is an issue that can happen, but It doesn't take away the brilliance of their performance. I mention that as a flaw cause I really love this song's verses, I also sang It to my Bride in our marriage, last month.
