    I've been trying to decide if the godhand is truly worth it. Since I do use my hobby knives so much I think I will just upgrade to tamiya cutter! Thank you! the best review I have seen!

    Was thinking to upgrade to god hand...but it’s just way too expensive

    I have the same GH nippers as you do in this video. They stuck together at first because you didn't remove the small piece of clear tape from the cutting edge before using it.

      James Halleluyah didn't recall small tape on any of mine. Bought those few years ago, and pull those out from my stash as needed. Will check next time. Thanks for the tip.

    For me i dont cut using that method.... what i do is cut using cheaper nipper at the top of sprue part then use the god hand to clean the nubmark....using tamiya one i still need to sand some nubmark but with god hand all is smooth and not to noticeable if you dont want to sand it down

  • @ApriliaRSV4F
    @ApriliaRSV4F Před 6 lety +8

    So if you want a smooth finish you still need to clean up with a hobby knife and sandpaper? I don't see the point in spending the extra money. I have also heard the the Godhand blades are very fragile. I do scale models, and if your surface isn't perfect, when you spray black primer you will see every imperfection.

      ApriliaRSV4F u kno how people are. If someone says its the best then eryone jumps on it. Like u said. If u still gotta use knife n sandpaper why spend out on a pair of expensive cutters. I like the finish u get with a knife

      Godhand spn 120 is so much fragile, my godhand broken.

    I'm definitely going to get the God hand.

    I got the 120 5.0 nippers. Tamiya products are pretty decent but with paints and glues, not really for nippers.

    Nice review but I don't trust my hands to be accurate 100% of the time so sanding the nubs is still my be4t option. Godhand maybe nice but not for me.

    I like Xuron's sprue cutters. Xuron's are designed to slice what ever they are cutting.

  • @muhammadhaziqbinzulkeple2265

    good advice. i can save some money now not buying as i always use hobby knife and sand papers a lot

  • @superzeronoelvalencia1361

    I have been thinking about switching but am new to Gundam but not modeling and diorama work. I def have been wanting to get godhands as well and found them for $45 ao its def worth the investment. you should do a review on gunprimer gate removal. I have been using the raiser and they are so nice for removal. thanks again for the video.

    Nice plastic nippers, much better ergonomics than nail clippers...Plastic cutting is not a demanding task, Knipex or Lindstrom should be much better on metals

    • @LuckeeStrikee
      @LuckeeStrikee Před 7 lety

      God Hand, but they cost a lot more. I'd say they're fine to cut some time if you intend to paint the kit, otherwise a normal pair of nippers + a sharp hobby knife would give a better result overall.

    • @JeremiasSR512

      several videos in here prove the god hands are better. Luckee Strikee's statement is real.
