Whenever you enter a mosque a muslim should pray a sunnah prayers again its optional but we a rewarded for doing so by Allah.

Secondly when you read appearance of Gabriel in Torah and Bible he never acted nor speak like the creature of the cave. The creature never introduced as the Angel Gabriel. And Muhammad was influenced by his uncle who had a really limited knowledge of religious facts.

You can't pray less than 5 times a day but you can pray more if you wish but each pray only takes 5-7 minutes usually
Originally it was 50 times but Muhammad peace be upon him prayed to Allah to reduce them for the people and became 5 MUST prayers a day.
