New Soup U's level designs still have some merit, people are just tired of the same aesthetics again. If the next 2D Mario game was something like the 3D World style in Mario Maker 2, people would be ALL for it.

I think should go for a 2D animated style that they use in a lot of the promotional art. It's really clean and it would be visually pleasing to see in motion, much like cuphead or other similar platformers.

Part 1 was a bit tough to watch but, lots of potential and memorable moments.
Part 2 is where is it gets good and takes you along a ride that you thought only mixing mda with Advil will get you.
Part 3 is where everything set in stone and where it becomes more popular. Which was all last year and a bit of 2017. New ideas where mixed in and were successful.
We are in Part 4 now, everything is so stylish and you got the whole town known as Bizzare, Crazy, Alax joining together to create stunning and information filled videos.
Now I can't wait for Part 5 when Alax's hair turns blonde and speaks Italian.

The mega man games had different bosses and course themes in every single game, and the only new super Mario game that doesn't have koopalings is the first one.

What do you mean what where they thinking? They released this game to cater to the people who wanted to play 2D Mario by releasing this easy to make cheap game that they know they’d want. 10:32 Actually due to a programming error being turned into part of the story, this was actually the case for SMB1. The first seven Bowsers are "fake" bowsers that would turn into the enemies they actually were if killed with fireballs, but the final Bowser in W8 is real. The seven other enemies were just increasing in difficulty to take care of, even though it didn't actually correlate to the fight itself.
Theoretically, these crowns could be stockpiled and Bowser could give them to every single enemy in his army and turn them all into fake bowsers who can all use his powers, from fire breathing to hammer throwing to extremely large durability and a large hitbox accompanied by the ability to jump.
So the Super Crown idea, although clearly retconned in, isn't actually a foreign concept for this series.

I recently went back to play Mario 3, and realized the thing with hidden coin stashes in Mario games... in the older, harder ones, oh my god were 1-ups crucial and that meant getting as many coins as possible was super important. Nowadays you clear world 1 and you’ve already hit the life limit, so coins seem pointless (because they are).
I gave it a like because of that dedication. I mean who else would go outside for a video?
