I saw a couple of video's claiming that it is possible to inflate a ball without a pump. One of those vids actually used a ball that was already inflated, how does that prove it's possible? I give it my best shot and almost burst a blood vessel in the process. If you think you can inflate a ball without a pump, send us the video showing how you did it but, start with a deflated ball.
A trained person can put out as much 3-4psi. Average person who cannot blow a humble latex balloon can blow 1psi at max. Healthy person will produce about 2psi.

And Wim Hof student for 4 years now can do it with ease at 8 psi. Started off with Hof at 1:30 secs holding my breath, today I reached 5:30 secs. Thank you Hof

Thanks for this method idk if I’m going do it tho my ball pump broke off in my ball and I had to deflate the whole thing it was hard I thought it was stuck in there forever but now I took it out all I need now is a new air pump
I do this not to inflate the ball but to expand your chest and the lungs. The idea is to go slowly and not hurt a blood vessel etc. Try it, you feel better in your breathing if done regularly.
Maybe I should have exhaled less forcefully

Works great for a chair substitute at my work desk. Now I can easily stretch and workout right at work. Only issue was the hand pump, half the time it wouldn't pump. I finally got it to inflate all the way, just took a little extra time.

It's a inappropriately late Monday evening and I am looking for a way to inflate a brand new basketball with only my lungs and all got was a reminder my non-existing insurance plan.

I was unable to get enough air into the netball to use in a match. I would imagine it might be the same for basketballs too. If you try and are successful please do let me know. If possible I would say to use a ball pump for best results. Good luck

The valve on my soccer ball is mislocated how to fix
Hi Asim, it depends on how far out it is. In most cases a drop of glycerine and then carefully insert the needle to find the valve. Good luck

You put a small notch in to the side so the air comes out of 2 holes when carefully inserted into the valve

@@attacktitan5864 You can try but you need to be careful you don't damage the ball. The video was to prove you cannot inflate the ball using your lungs and would always recommend using a ball pump

Hi Shandhro I never tried this but suspect the pressure within the ball would be too great for your lungs to improve upon. Good thought though

How much do I get off the end
The notch is just a small nick near the end. The length should be minimum 50mm otherwise it won't go into the valve far enough. Also need enough to blow into.
i tried it and you can kind of blow some air in there but you need to maintain your breathing and once you blow the air in you need to put you tounge on the top of the hole so air wont come out and i tried it my mouth hurts so much but i almost get a perfect football

Hi sorry for the late response. If a ball doesn't have a valve there would be nowhere to insert the needle. So, i don't think it would be possible
