Ningún vehículo de serie de estos "off road" de hoy llegaría ni a 1/4 del camino como lo hacían estos LR, verdaderos todo terrenos que no se amedrentaban con nada. Extrañamos esos tiempos cuando la aventura era real, cuando uno se enlodaba hasta las narices, cuando uno se bañaba en los ríos, cuando tu LR buceaba o tenías que manejar con el agua hasta el cuello. Esos eran tiempos de valientes!!!!

with the discovery and range rover being what they are now and the coming of the 'evoque' and even the defender going soon, i dont think land rover could ever do this sort of thing again. its all over priced plastic now. the real stuffs gone :(

Until the engine block is made of aluminum. So he said it's very easy to push it and carry it on his shoulders when no road to use. I wish someone of this site send me an email with an answer because I think this statement is completely stupid and not true. Please send me an answer. I think the land hover ever motorcade build a vehicle with bodywork and aluminum motor to cross a jungle anywhere in the world.
+Rogerio Souza A mix between aluminium and iron, chassis and bulkhed are made from steel, door frames and bonnet are steel, engine block is iron and this model had iron head (culata), the rest is aluminum. Not going to mention axles, suspension and rims are steel too... ;-)

I had watched this Camel Trophy when I was kid.
Since then, i believe only LAND ROVER Defender the only strongest OFFROAD vehicle.
