The right tool makes any job simple. Did heat it up a little, my factory gas jet was in there pretty good. Great products!

Jared, I am really surprised that anyone would need to heat the area with a torch before removing the OEM gas jet. Mine came right out with a crappy little jeweler's screwdriver on both my SCAR 17 and the 16. At the time, both rifles had fired several thousand rounds of ammunition. I do clean in that area whenever I am done shooting for the day, and you are maybe aware that I have been using your gas jets for several years now. Your 2.5mm hex gas jets are really great and always easy to remove and replace when cleaning or tuning for my own handloads. In all this time, I've never had any difficulty removing the OEM jets or yours. Yours are certainly my favorites though. Thanks for the video. Don't forget to put a gas jet in the rifle you just used for the video. It doesn't seem to have one at the moment since you forgot to put one in before reassembling.

Same here , on my 17 when I took mine apart to replace the gas jet I thought oh boy I'm going to have to heat this thing up and possibly ruin something to get it out , same goes for the kdg handguard i installed because thats what they said in the installation tutorial but I didn't have to do any of those things , the gas jet wasn't tight and a allen key or maybe it was a small screw driver ( can't remember) took it right out with ease.

How’s the gas plug sizes interact with FN’s new non-reciprocating charging hand,e and carrier?
