Minecraft Nether Ambient Sounds [1.16]

- čas přidán 8. 04. 2020
- 19 minutes of all the ambient sounds that are currently playing in the Nether. All files were taken from 20w15a snapshot but as far as I know it’s all the same in 1.16 release.
I didn't edit any sound files so some of them have quite long "soundless" parts. I'm sorry for that.
Each biome has a unique set of sounds.

Agreed because of the enderman noises
@@coiledbug2394 I tapped on the time stamp and didn't expect addition 6 to be so FREAKING TERRIFYING
Also help1 is creepy too
You gotta remember the warped forest is "warped" - it doesn't belong in this universe, and comes from another. The strange sounds are either cracks in reality or noises from the other universe.
I mean enderman spawn there

Cave Ambience: I'm the scariest thing in Minecraft!
Nether Ambience: *Are you sure about that?*
I mean you aren’t wrong. Every biome has its ambiance and that most likely adds up to over 126 sounds.
But Cave is still the scariest according to people
@Lunatrics :D i think the cave most scarier because im never waiting for the sound and sounds make it look like im going down to hell, and the sounds dont make any sense, its not a cave sound.
Nether dont scare me cuz its normal and it is not a creepy random round, its just like a nether should sound, and it fells cool.
@@hir7038 yea the caves are scary with those sounds the bad thing you hear those sounds in any world place
In my words I still think the nether is scary. Because it's like hell. I mean the cave sounds are scary but I find the nether ones to be more terrifying.

15:39 so that's why Hoglins are scared of Warped Fungus.
I think the addition6 is a hoglin eating a warped mushroom

All jokes aside, they really knocked it out of the park with this update. The nether actually feels like a dangerous place no matter what stage of the game you're in now. Now if only they could add a few ambient sounds to the overworld..

Where is the end dimension update? There's a mod that makes the end dimension insane. Why don't they turn that mod into a complete end dimension update it would make it really cool
@@nateschale189that would take a lot of time to make especially since java and bedrock uses different programming languages
They did it, guys😀
It would be cool if they add sound fx's in the overworld too like the sound of wind or birds

Why do you think they removed it
@@requiem8648 every biome had biome specific ambience but since the player spent so little in each biome, it sounded pretty bad
Bird ambient sounds were planned to be added, but were scrapped :(
@@brusha939 i think i remember they added that for a short time at one point
The basalt delta:
The oldest biome of the 5, likely where many different eruptions took place back when the nether was still a habitable green and lush dimension, post eruption the delta became a fragmented lava field that cooled over time causing the area to shrouded in a permanent semi-rock semi-lava escape blanketed in a thick fog of ash...
The nether wastes:
The land immediately surrounding the former volcanoes of the basalt Delta, being burned stripped of anything it previously had, after the eruptions it became a lava filled and a red burned up mess of a landscape filled with creatures that come from another world seeking safety from the hostile creatures of the overworld... And it's clear that many of the natives merged with the hellhole known as the nether wastes...
Soulsand valley:
Similar to the nether wastes, yet to this land was likely inhabited by the previous lifeforms now buried in its ghostly sands and dried up fossils with a few of the tortured souls being able to manifest into physical skeletons barely clinging on to life waiting to join their brothers in the sand for a life of eternal pain and suffering.
Crimson forest:
The second youngest biome. The red trees of this fiery biome have adapted to the superheated landscape of this hellish world and have been able to thrive for a number of foreseeable years, And where the majority of this unique world's population calls home.
Warped forest:
The likely youngest biome, cousins of the previously mentioned crimson Forest these rare specimens of fauna have adapted to the intense presence of a strange otherworldly force present in the area. Causing most of the areas plant and fauna to turn a greenish blue color, along with its purple-like fog that has been a result of the countless for an enderman that have since called it home.
Josyf standars amazing....

I could add a mob to the crimson/warped forests if I wanted:

10:45 OK THATS WHAT I HEARD WHILE I WAS NETHERITE MINING. Scared the crap out of me
The Basalt Delta ambience sounds like the remains of a volcanic valley collapsing in on itself.
The nether waste ambience sounds like it’s what’s left of what was once a crimson forest that died off
The soulsand valley sounds like the souls of the lost warning you to tread carefully or you’ll be lost too.
The warped forest sounds is the forest possibly being alive and something far more sinister
I feel the Nether is some sort of world where the effects of nuclear weapons became a reality and the only things that remained are the extremely mutated wildlife and flora. The only ores that grow here are ones found that can be created in high pressures of heat, i.e. small bits of gold and quartz.
Also the warped forests sound like they are ripping the nether apart, forcing its way into a world forgotten by time.
Nether fortress are probably the remnants of an ancient civilization that tried to live in this desolate world, even creating blazes to use as protection to ward off the mutants. Now, all that remains in these remnants were the previous inhabitants, their bones charred in an unholy black that cause you to, momentarily, become like them.
To add to this theory of nuclear radiation, the basalt deltas have radiation ticks for ambience, and if I recall correctly, getting intensely burned by nuclear blast makes you carbonized(literally burned into carbon like coal), so wither skeletons maybe?
Also, maybe it’s like the basalt deltas are ground zero or something for detonations or blasts idk
Thanks for this! I heard an explosion in the nether wastelands and I didn’t know it was an ambience track! I though a troller joined!
These sounds just make everything even more mysterious

Crimson Forest - A forest covered with canopies of mushrooms with fierce hoglins that guard it and hanging vines.
Nether Wastes - A torrid biome with tons of netherrack and flowing lava within the overworld's core.
Soul Sand Valley - A dry biome filled with the lost souls of the damned, containing fossils of dead animals which phantoms can feast and skeletons that had been discovered by archeologists.
Warped Forest - Another forest with unnerving and poisonous canopies of warped mushrooms with endermen, the guardians of the end guard the mushrooms, too.

Sounds so macabre to me, it feels like souls falling into hellfire 4:17
Addition 4 and 5 from the warped forest sounds like an enderman, which makes sense since that biome is full of endermans
Oh? And what about additon6.ogg
Love these ambients
underrated comment
Soul Sand Valley: This place is putrid. It reeks of death. Everything that has once lived there is dead. Gone. Replaced by this dead, quiet landscape. The agony of valley matches the agony the player feels when they have just lost a good friend or pet to the fiery lava pools of this hell. The player screams in agony as lost souls scream out too. (Sadness, depression, hurt, agony)
Basalt Delta: Explosive. Fire and ash shoot over 100 meters into air from thousands of basalt volcanoes. Lava runs down the slopes between the basalt spikes, creating a kind of river delta shape. Archipelagos rise up from the lava oceans so massive, that if somehow emptied, could fit the entirety of Chicago in it, maybe even more. As the player becomes consumed in rage and resentment, the deltas erupt more until a breaking point, where the volcanoes explode. (Resentment, anger, rage, violence)
Crimson Forest: Red trees rise up from red grass. Twisting vines make it hard to see anything in this dense forest. The player's fear builds up as sounds are made from behind trees. Piglins and hoglins lurk in the forest like wolves waiting to strike down on their prey. The fear intensifies, and the noises slowly close in as the fear closes in as well. (Fear, paranoia, panic)
Warped Forest: This is the most similar place to the lush forests of the overworld so far. It's green, has trees, and plants. It offers a sense of security, except, those aren't leaves on the trees. It's warped wart. And those plants are roots and and sprouts that have nothing to do with photosynthesis. This is no safe haven. This is one of the most volatile places since the Basalt Deltas. It confuses you, it gives you the illusion that it's safe. Once the player realizes, it's already too late. (Confusion, illusionary, false sense of security)
Nether Wastes: Nothing. Just redness. Rubedo. There is only endless netherrack and fire. The player goes crazy as the cave of wastes continues on, with no end in sight. Sadisticness starts to settle in. Restlessness becomes a problem. And then, you see bodies. Bodies of piglins and hoglins, as well as the rotting bodies of fellow players. Blood stains the netherrack, and arrows and swords are everywhere. The player then realizes that this was of THEIR doing. They killed all these mobs and players. In pain, they let out a wail that echoes across the entire nether, as the player falls to their knees.
(Sadisticness, phycoticness, realization, pain)
Part 1 of Fight Against the 'Phobia coming soon!
I could think of so many creepy creatures that would play these sounds
And that scares me
