      Tepung pelita prepared by sellers from Kuala Kangsar are normally extremely good and prepared the original way. They will steam first the bottom part and then pour the white salty top part and steam

    Roti john used to be a simple minced chicken/beef "omelette bread" with a thin layer of mayo and chilli sauce...but over the years sellers started adding bbq sauce and cheese sauce and god knows what other sauces they use. Some also have chicken/beef floss and mozarella cheese. Just kill the real taste as the bread is soaked in sauces and other toppings...so basically you're eating sauces in bread...but depends on everyone preference...i just like it simple...

    That is sticky rice in bamboo called lemang because its cooked with coconut milk and eaten with beef rendang which is a must have dish for Hari Raya. You should try it with your cousin for the next visit.

      & is not just during Ramadhan, actually you can get all the year but limited selling spot... Unlike 'Bubur Lambuk', only during Ramadhan... Bubur Lambuk is special rice porridge or Congee that cooked with Ghee, Coconut milk, spices, beef/chicken, rice, pandan leaves, onion, garlic, ginger & many more..garnished with spring onion, fried shallot & cilantro...

    Lemang (bamboo rice) is nothing like the once you've tried elsewhere. way more flavor. it's sticky rice with creamy coconut taste. dip it in any sauce or sambal, the best taste your mouth could handle.

    They serve free food attended by 100,000 people
    Also try to attend Iftar at one of Putrajaya mosques (Putra/Pink Mosque or Sultan Zainal Abidin/Iron Mosque) but you need to cover yourself/dress decenttly

      Really cool you know these things! It's medus in Lithuanian, but some words in Malay and Lithuanian can be similar because old Malay uses words from Sanskrit and Tamil and Lithuanian also has many similarities to Sanskrit.

    The sad part is out of all the roti John stores u went to the least appealing one even for Malaysian standard that is not appetizing. There are far better roti John stall with tons of meat.

      We did later that evening and it was delicious! Especially the beef curry. Mario was just very sick when we got back home so we couldn't try everything straight away.
