Some people are just workers helping owners sell it. Example that lady is probably an Indonesian helper.
At minuts 2:16, she is indonesion. i've been driving a cab for many years, i can easily differentciate malaysian malay, and indonesian,. and i can differenciate malaysian chinese, and chinese from china, differencite between chinese, japenese and korean .
2:18 looks like she is from Indonesia.
YES I THAT ALSO.. MALAYSIAN LADY NOT ACT LIKE THAT đ
Malaysia one of my favourite country when it comes to food, people and interesting places to visit. Been there 8 times in 4 yrs. Will be going there soon this year. Amazing bazaar and thanks for sharing Mario. Waiting for your next vlog. Take care bro! Cheers!
It's definitely one of those places you always want to revisit, thanks for watching!
maybe the girl doesn't seem to be from Malaysia, it's possible that she's an Indonesian worker, that's why she doesn't treat you very well if you speak English... even if she wears a hijab, she's not necessarily a Malaysian but a worker
Tgk style pn dh tau kn đ
Tgk pn tau indon org msia vibe dia lain sket đ
x semestinya bro.. ada je orang selangor pun ada yg berdarah jawa.. dgn aku ckp melayu.. bila geng jawa ada.. dia ckp jawa
its the attitude not the countryđ€
Obvious she is a foreign worker
We Malaysian, really love to share food. It's more overwhelm sharing during Ramadan..
I THINK THE WOMAN YOU ASK HOW LONG TO COOK THAT FOOD, THAT WOMAN I THINK INDONESIAN LADY. đ
Tepung pelita is quite savoury dessert. One of my fav. Problem is not everyone can do it nicely cause if the ratio is off, it can be too sweet or too sour....
This one was really good!
It can get bitter too
Tepung pelita prepared by sellers from Kuala Kangsar are normally extremely good and prepared the original way. They will steam first the bottom part and then pour the white salty top part and steam
@@norhadzirahramli74 Agree
Roti john used to be a simple minced chicken/beef "omelette bread" with a thin layer of mayo and chilli sauce...but over the years sellers started adding bbq sauce and cheese sauce and god knows what other sauces they use. Some also have chicken/beef floss and mozarella cheese. Just kill the real taste as the bread is soaked in sauces and other toppings...so basically you're eating sauces in bread...but depends on everyone preference...i just like it simple...
Mozzarella roti John is my fav but abit pricey tho đ
I love Roti Yahya...ooops Roti John (John the Christian name is Yahya the Muslim name, like John the Baptist is Nabi Yahya/Prophet Yahya in Islam) I mean. I am Malaysian..
Tepung pelita, is available all year round, more so perhaps during Ramadhan in bazars
Glad that you had so much fun at the Ramadhan BazarâŠ
That girls is indonesian, i knew that stall and the owner. That is his worker, she is from indonesian and don't know english language. So sorry on behalf of her. đ
It's no problem at all!
If u dont like sauces, actually u can ask for less sauce
no way, I didn't knew we could do that wow đźđźđź
@@imgonnatouchyoun1gg4 Yes you can ..same goes with Ramly Burger too ... I normally ask for less sauce for both delicacies. You'll definitely gonna luv the taste of the burger meat.
NASI KERABU IS DELICIOUS IF YOU KNOW HOW TO EAT IT. MAKE SURE TO MIXES IT WELL WITH THE SAUCES ALL TOGETHER AND NOT JUST EAT THE RICE SEPARATELY.
Energetic & Smiling Couple...
That is sticky rice in bamboo called lemang because its cooked with coconut milk and eaten with beef rendang which is a must have dish for Hari Raya. You should try it with your cousin for the next visit.
Sounds good đ
Thank for sharing. Bazar ramadhan in putra jaya kualalumpur. Malaysia.
Thanks for watching!
The Malay Traditional dessert is called..
"Tepung Pelita"đ
& is not just during Ramadhan, actually you can get all the year but limited selling spot... Unlike 'Bubur Lambuk', only during Ramadhan... Bubur Lambuk is special rice porridge or Congee that cooked with Ghee, Coconut milk, spices, beef/chicken, rice, pandan leaves, onion, garlic, ginger & many more..garnished with spring onion, fried shallot & cilantro...
Prime Minister Eid Open House this year cancel as on the news
Sorry to hear that, where else can you go for open house celebration in KL?
Best halal food PUTRAJAYA LOOK YUMMY DELICIOUS FOOD
THANK YOU FOR GREAT SHARING MY FRIEND GREATTING FROM NEW FRIEND đČđŽ
Thanks for watching!
Hello guys..
Welcome to Malaysia.
I hope you two have fun in Malaysia guys... đđ
Thanks!
@@TravelsonToast You are welcome
hahaha, hard to find genuine good Roti John, to a point it become a meme - Egg Only Roti John (which means 'scam' Roti John that doesn't have any chicken or beef inside). Another meme is Onion Murtabak (same case, 'scam' Murtabak without chicken or beef inside)
Scam roti John đ like that name. Shame it's hard to find a good one!
My favourite Ramadan dessert Tepung Pelita đđđ
Our fav đ€€đ
Nasi Kerabu is good. The people are so generous that they treat you to some food. The kuih that you don't know the name is Tepung Pelita
Helllooo nice to see your video and commen
The roti John they gave like empty. No eggs, no chicken, just sauce. Crazy.
yeah, disappoint with roti john seller nowadays.. only few put more meat
@@sirbobhatethenumberyoutubegive in the video, the vendor did not put anything at all, they toast the bread and put sauce on it. This is scamming people.
It was a shame since we heard so many things about roti John!
yeah, roti john should be good.. but some seller think about profit only.. huhu
@Sir Bob while watching them make it, I will surely refuse to pay them as it was a scam
Im agree with u Roti John seller sometimes they forget how to make good Roti John i dont like buy Roti John at bazar ramadhan u can find good RotiJohn but not too much always worst roti john only 10% stall can make Real GOOD taste of Roti John..if u know stall selling Roti john and have good taste just stay with that stall
Ok, thanks for the tips!
@@TravelsonToast no problem đ
ilike bosskuđ
Hi...u guys awesome...mario dont forget ur skateboardđ
We got it!
Tepung pelita at last đ€€ I just break my fast with tepung pelita few mins ago haha
Awesome, it's soo good!
I can't wait to watch this video bro.
Enjoy man!
Really nice
Lemang (bamboo rice) is nothing like the once you've tried elsewhere. way more flavor. it's sticky rice with creamy coconut taste. dip it in any sauce or sambal, the best taste your mouth could handle.
Guys, they can fix you up a couple of halal Ramleys !!
try bazar ramadhan pandan indah..near by my house at ampang next to joging track
Thanks for this wonderful video n for showing your explorations at d Ramadan baazar in Putrajaya. Lots of good street food to choose. Someone nice treated u guys a nasi briyani.
It was so kind of them! We really enjoyed this market
@@TravelsonToast Wonderful. đ
Wow, looking around local market and eating local foods are my favorite thing to do and watch.

Malaysia people here. I have been there yesterday. Why i can't meet you gais! đ Yup your head will spinning a bit going there, me also. đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł To much food!
Ah that's a shame! Yeah too much choice as always in Malaysian markets!
@@TravelsonToast Goodluck for choosing Malaysian food. đ€Ł Sometime different people make a difference taste of the food. Delicious or not it's depends by who's making the food. đ
For roti John you can ask for less sauce.. Me personally don't like too much sauce too..
You can replace your broken selfie stick at KL as it is pretty cheap
Yes bro,just enjoy yourself
U should try murtabak, buah melaka also.. famous food in ramadhan..
Thanks for suggestions!
Stay here until raya festival..all people are invited to the 'open house' host by the government...u can eat many types of dishes for raya and all it's for free đ
Sounds awesome, we'll be here!
You need to attend the Prime Minister Eid Open House
They serve free food attended by 100,000 people
Also try to attend Iftar at one of Putrajaya mosques (Putra/Pink Mosque or Sultan Zainal Abidin/Iron Mosque) but you need to cover yourself/dress decenttly
Prime Minister Eid Open House this year cancel as on the news

What a shame
This year "closed house"
wuhuuuu im hungryđ
Bazaar Ramadan đČđŸđ
Ya, your cousin should try out more local delicacies. She's bound to find one that's to her liking. Keep an open palate!đđđ
Some typical mindset, spicy... đ
nampak cam satu benda pun dia tak beli
they got that salt and pepper tongue lel

roti john is definitely like that bro.. no Patty inside. and juz have beef / chicken gravy in side that with mayonnaise and other sauce

Masyarakat Dunia teruja dgn Bazar Ramadan yg simple
I want to go to Vilnius... btw i love how you say haiiiyaaaa... very malaysian hahaha
Tepung Pelita is sold all year round at nite markets and elsewhere. But more so in Ramadan Bazaars
I am fasting and this is making me feel hungrier.
We hope you enjoyed breaking fast after watching!
1:30 milk jellies
1:39 rotisserie roasted chicken
1:51 mango drink with ice cream at the top
3:23 durian crepe is cream wrapped inside a durian flesh âskinâ
7:26 unfortunately the takoyakiâs in Malaysia dont usually use octopus. They use squid chunks.
8:45 those are actually Lemang. Sticky rice cooked with coconut milk.
That girl is Indonesian worker not Malaysian.
Hm sikap manusia mmg beragam lah .. klau x pndai nk ckp english pun , ap slah nya guna isyarat tngan .. xpyah la smpai nk menyombongkan diri buat mcm org brtnya tu mcm tnggul kan .. đđđŁ

Perhaps from Malaysia --- you could fly to Medan, Sumatra --- and explore SUMATRA together --- while traveling on toast --- the 8th largest island on Earth. Airfare is cheap from KL to Indonesia.
Sumatra has been on our list for a long time, we will go there at some point đ
â€â€â€â€love from Malaysia đđđ€ done subscribe â€đ
Terima Kasih!

Kueh pelita
Loads of fried oily food , caters to our Malaysian Palateđ ....lots of choices but having a difficult time choosing ? đ€ the dilema of visiting Ramadhan Bazars.
You need to try kueh kuchi. Wrap with banana leaf inside coconut with gula malacca.
Sounds good!
â€
2:15 If they don't speak a word of english, they are very likely not Malaysian. I could be wrong but In this case, she's probably Indonesian worker hired by the owners.
Not sure if we call it ayam golek. Like kambing golek
mariođđđ u funny laaa
Me too dont like sloppy burger or sloppy roti john. I always ask for lesser sauce.
Why don't u guys ask for less sauce? I as a local do that every time I order burgers/hotdogs/roti johns etc etc
We wanted to try the authentic
Out of curiosity, from which part of England is the accent, Olivia?
From West Yorkshire, but the accent is not like that đ travelling changed me

Are u guys going to stay until RAYA. Ihope so
Yes!!

Haiyoo no seafood??
I believe our common word madu is medu in Lithuanianđ honey
Really cool you know these things! It's medus in Lithuanian, but some words in Malay and Lithuanian can be similar because old Malay uses words from Sanskrit and Tamil and Lithuanian also has many similarities to Sanskrit.
Bro, she wants that fish and chip. Go make her day, man! No diet for you!
That woman is not malaysian...they are workers from indonesia...most indonesian cant speak english
hahhaha lost in food heavens
The sad part is out of all the roti John stores u went to the least appealing one even for Malaysian standard that is not appetizing. There are far better roti John stall with tons of meat.
Still feeling really confused of that lady doesn't even answer the question.. why is she acting like that?? Lot of assumption inside my head right now. But i will never said it out loud.
Bole beza cara org malaysia dgn indon layan org mcm mana.. Tgk makcik tu 2:18 dgn jiran dia org malaysia.. đ
I'm sure it was just because she didn't understand us, which is no problem!
Indonesia...forget it lolđ
makan ker tak nasi beriani yg akak tu bagi...
We did later that evening and it was delicious! Especially the beef curry. Mario was just very sick when we got back home so we couldn't try everything straight away.
Bro how u can understand Malay-englishđ
Uncle Roger is our Malay English guide đ
Must be bloody hot in those costumes
U ll find out it s hotter in hell hahaha
