  • This is a reverse timelapse of a 9.120 piece puzzle which took 18 months to complete (with long breaks). This Ravensburger puzzle shows Pieter Bruegel the elder interpretation of the old testament story of the Tower of Babel. The music in this video is from the MyPulse collection of songs for yoga, meditation, mindfulness, relaxation and chilling.

    I missed the part that said reverse, but as I watched it I figured that had to be it. I'm so glad I was right, I was feeling pretty inadequate! 😂

    I just bought the same one but 5000 pieces instead. I just planned it to complete it by myself in a 25 years period 😁🥺

      starriix what does quarantine usually provide you with that is required to make a large puzzle?
      It should not be _that_ difficult to figure out........

    Omg man, I freaking love puzzles but I would never known how to do that one! The biggest puzzle ive ever done was 4000 and that took me forever

    Lol, I missed the "reverse" part and for the first minute or so before I was certain it must be disassembling it in reverse I was like "HOW! HOW! You guys must be geniuses at sorting!".

    Right now i puzzle my 9000 piece Puzzle.. astro.. im not sure.. i love to watch your video but it seems like you put it all together, after that apart and then the way like this together again???

      Ravensburger has a lost piece service. You give them the cordinates of the lost piece/s and they send them to you. Real profesionals!

      I had a 3000 piece puzzle once, set up on a artists easel 75 to 80% done. Housemates cat jumped through the window one day, sent the puzzle flying. I trashed it, couldn't bare the thought of going through all that work to discover there was a piece or 2 missing.

    I did Veronese's The Wedding at Cana. It's relatively easy, because there are many faces which helps. And yet, at moments, I thought of abandoning. And it was only 1000 pieces!!!! Now I think I will continue doing puzzles, just to learn patience

    Wow I love the Babel tower one but I only see it on 5000 piece not 9000 which I would love , is it discontinued? Damn looks great, good job

      I haven't seen the 9000 edition for a long time, this was bought in 1999, just didn't have the space to assemble it until 2018 :-)

      The 9000 pcs of The Tower of Babel was a special edition version of The Tower of Babel puzzle which was made in ‘96. Finding it now is... quite rare especially in mint condition/as new and probably also quite expensive :).

    Look I got a 500 piece jigsaw puzzle and it took 4 days to complete. So a 100 piece puzzle would take 8 days.

      They completed the jigsaw in 18 months. Then they filmed themselves breaking the jigsaw apart one piece at a time. Then they reversed the film.
