When you mixed those bags together...I was like nooooo each bag is a section I thought...well what a challenge you took on, and on a small table...how you kept this straight and could figure out where pieces belong ...great job...that is dedication
yea I wanted the challenge and with this particular picture it was actually easier than it looks because all the buildings had a unique look to them so I could pinpoint what area the of the puzzle they went to with vary little effort. although some areas were harder like the sky and the black pieces.
@@walnutboy That is exactly what I do when I do a puzzle. I can see the colors and shapes and sometimes I will have a piece set aside an then later know exactly where it goes, and it does.
Wow!! You did a great job!! I cant believe you did it alone, 18000 pieces, and kept record of everything. I love the video, I do wish you had kept the updates to only days or weeks and not individual sessions but its amazing.
The biggest puzzle I have ever done was 9000 pieces and I had to get some foam board to make my table top bigger to hold the puzzle. Congrats on 18,000. There are even bigger ones.
Nice i have a 9000 one that I might do a time-lapse of eventually and for the bigger ones. I'm actually currently working on the largest puzzle commercially available at 60,000 pieces and I'm uploading the time-lapses ass I go.
CONGATULATIONS🤯🤯🤯 This is the most insane thing i ever saw someone doing with a puzzle...this was amazing... I even skipped back because i couldnt believe you mixed the Bags....i'm more then impressed...lovely greetings
I just watched another puzzle person, they did a 9000 piece, I'm gonna tell you what I told them... That is ONE big puzzle, now you just need to put a nice thin layer of resin on it!
I'm having heart palpitations just thinking about a puzzle of this size. Mad respect for anyone who can do it, but I doubt I'll ever tackle one that big.
Just like me when I draw, transparent the background with outline and coloring digitally one by one, zoom in and out, hours, days, weeks has passed by because I'm doing it with passion ^^ From Bandung, Indonesia
@The puzzle Guru I'm betting that listening to classical music is really nice while working on this incredible masterpiece. You are an incredible person by the way just for being able to do something like this. I'm currently working on a wimpy little 350 piece puzzle.
The little rectangles were the size of the box so that I could store them easier . the pieces were initially in four separate bags of 6000 pieces each with the puzzle being divided into quarters
you caught that I was hoping nobody would notice i actually ended up making a new piece for it. so it would be complete so you could say the last piece was the hardest because I had to make it myself.
while I was building it I just used foam board to move them from place to place and then when the sections were completed I put masking tape on the back side to hold the pieces together and make it easier to move around.
@@GJChurchward yep that is exactly what I did I used two of the foam boards to make a sandwich and flipped it. worked pretty well with this puzzle because the pieces fit pretty tightly. but with some other puzzles I could see it going wrong.
With this one I stored it back in the box, some people will frame them and hang them up. With others Ive just broken them apart so that I can do them again at a later time
Nice Video... I have a question, Do you think a person becomes more proficient by doing more puzzles? Perhaps like in other activities the more you do them the better you become. I never thought about before, I was just wondering while watching your video. Thank You.... 😊 👕 👖
yes you do become more proficient. as an example the more puzzles you do you can start to recognize patterns in the piece shape that connects as well as orientation based on the size of the piece. it is also slightly different based on the manufacturer.
i liked the video but it was cheating in it. the sections have the same cut and you laid them under to do the next section on top. So you know which piece belongs exactly to which place.
yea i'm still pretty new at making these and this was my first time-lapse video so it was vary rough. and a lot of things that seamed like a good idea at the time but now that I look at it were bad ideas like interrupting the time lapse for the days and times.
Thanks it was a fun puzzle to build at this point I think its gone out of production. so good luck on finding one or if they ever decide to make reprints.
the timelapse makes it look like he is just ✨manifesting✨ the pieces into place

You mixed all the bags, OMG! You're really brave👏
thank you
Wow, I am in awe at your puzzling style!!!! Thank you for sharing!

Thank you so much! This was one of my first videos so there is a lot I would do differently and thanks for the feedback.
All I can say is wow and well done. I know I wouldn't have the patience to do that

Tout mon respect !! Chapeau !! Vraiement impressionnant !!
I appreciate your obsession for this puzzle.

I’d give up literally the next day

That's so impressive. I'm working on a 500 piece round puzzle right now and I find that challenging. haha
Amazing to watch the progress ❤❤❤❤new subscriber
I couldn’t believe someone can make this. Nice work 👍
Thanks!

After realizing where section 1 is on the poster I realized how massive it is
when you don't have enough space, it's a good idea doing it by secction, I'll try with my first gigant puzzle. Thanks you
Now I like a challenge but even my parents think my 1000 piece puzzles are too much rofl
Great job doing the puzzle, thanks for sharing. Did you tape the back of the puzzle? If so what tape did you ues?
I was amazed at how the sections stayed together when you moved them!
tape was vary useful for this
What kind of tape? Just painterstape? And will you be able to remove the tape if you would like to do the puzzle again?
@@TamaraDamen-pc2sd Just normal wide transparent scotch tape.
So cool! Want this puzzle so badly
Wow! I notice you did several sorts throughout the entire build. How did you prioritize the sorting?

Das ist ja der helle Wahnsinn. Hätte nicht so viel Geduld. Alle Hochachtung 😂
A great job!
Incredible!
Wonderful work!
Many thanks!
Great work
I really watched all of the video. Very impressive stat tracking and editing. Did you listen to anything while you worked?
I mostly listen to classical music or audio-books

Felicidades 😮🎉. Saludos desde la ciudad de México
Wow l love it l did 6000 piece it was sorting and sorting and sorting out pieces as you go along it took me 10 weeks but l loved the whole process
Yea sorting seams to be half the battle with these large puzzles.
Wish we could watch you put this together from a top view 😢
Dude! Impressive. I'm glad you changed your clothes.
Hey, thanks!
Insane performance. How can you sort the parts when you've mixed everything? And did you organize the sections yourself?
Do the bags of pieces the entire puzzle randomly mixed or are the the little rectangles that you fit together at the end in each separate bag?
The little rectangles were the size of the box so that I could store them easier . the pieces were initially in four separate bags of 6000 pieces each with the puzzle being divided into quarters
Finsllly someone who doesn’t cheat at big puzzles

you caught that I was hoping nobody would notice i actually ended up making a new piece for it. so it would be complete so you could say the last piece was the hardest because I had to make it myself.
@@walnutboy I can't tell if I should respect you for creating a piece from scratch or for the best deadpan comeback ever XDXD Enjoyable watch!

cuanto medira un rompecabezas asi , 2 m x 1 o cuanto ? sera necesario pegarlo soble una tabla de triplay grande para ponerlo sobre la pared de la casa
Top!!
I like this video
incroyable!
How do you keep the small sections assembled so that you can move them around without them falling to pieces again?
while I was building it I just used foam board to move them from place to place and then when the sections were completed I put masking tape on the back side to hold the pieces together and make it easier to move around.
@@walnutboy How do you get the masking tape onto the back side? Presumably you have to turn the whole section over.

18 mil piezas??. 😮😮😮. Nunca vi un rompecabezas tan grande.
How did you keep your arms out of the video
Woooooaw!
Impresionante

Am shocked
The real challenge is to complete a puzzle with all the pieces of the same color.
That will be the next puzzle after I finish this or if I need a break from this one.
Ok but it's too big to hang anywhere. Back in the box it goes I guess.
yep exactly

зачем смешивать все 4 пакета? Собрать по отдельности содержимое каждого пакета, потом соединить их. Или вы не ищете лёгких путей?
What was the music??
it was Called Tranquility i usually go with classical music in my videos
By who?
looks like Kevin Loyd I just pulled it out of the CZcams music library.

the sections have the same cut and you laid them under to do the next section on top. So you know which piece belongs exactly to which place.
