We purchased our Moustache Samedi Tandem from you in Feb 2020 despite few issues which was quickly resolved its has been the best tandem we have owned it’s a fantastic machine and comes highly recommended ,I also own a Moustache Friday which I purchased in 2021 from Evans cycles lovely bike love the colour but I have had some issues with it most notable punctures caused by rim tape moving exposing spoke holes cutting into inner tube due in part to the design profile of the wheel rim though fingers crossed think I’ve cured it. Loading of the underslung battery can be a faff which I now have sorted last the turning stem which allows you to turn handle bars you need to make sure it’s adjusted correctly as if it comes loose which I have experienced once can be dangerous , but as a brand I would recommend Moustache it is a quality brand.
Hi Rhys, so glad you've enjoyed the Samedi X2 Tandem that you bought from us in 2020! With there being very few electric tandem bikes on the market it's a top find. And a Moustache Friday too! With regards to the issue with repetitive punctures, perhaps relaying some new rim tape could solve this? Sounds like you've come up with a solution though, so we hope this does the trick! Could another Moustache to form the trilogy be on the cards?!
The more I learn about Moustache as a brand the better I like them. Really love the style and and utility of their bike's, particularly the cargo bike.
Just out of interest , would there be any possibility of front suspension on the cargo bike at some point in the future ?
@@droptuned83 well you obviously have great taste! They are an exceptional company... real pioneers of the electric bike world. Better still, their culture is second-to-none, their bikes are called #smilingmachines but their staff are great, hard-working and fun people! It's reflected in the bikes they produce.
In answer to your question, it's not something we are seeing yet. The Lundi 20 is staying true to the original design of the Lundi 27, which doesn't have suspension.

I bought the moustache FS bike in 2023 Bosch Smart System in Canada. It’s a great bike but there’s one issue. After the second day the Intuvia 100 would no longer connect to the controller. My bike shop was very accommodating, and after several attempts to repair the problem, no luck. I was able to return it and buy another Moustache full suspension. It also gave me the same problem as the first one. Now they’re installing the Kiox 300 to my bike. I believe Bosch system definitely has a communication problem between the controller and the display. I’ll know in a few weeks if it works. If not, I will buy a different brand of bike like the Cube Katmandu 625.
This needs more view's. Im obsessed with moustache bikes but not ready to buy yet. When i come into some money im getting the Lundi. Its one of the coolest bikes ever designed!

Most Moustache e-bikes have high bottom brackets because of the EMTB heritage. So a dropper post is ESSENTIAL for SAFE riding on the road. I have ridden 7,000 km on my Friday FS27 "45" Speed in about eight months. Maximum ride length, so far, is 85 miles or 140km in only a few hours. I bought a 625Ah spare battery and take it on every longer ride to get me safely home at high speed. I am over 75 and have been a cyclist all my life. The seat dropper post and a wider, leather saddle made all the difference. The Moustache '45' totally transformed my cycling. Few sporting cyclists can keep up with me for very long in Sport mode. Turbo leaves them in the dust. A pair of Ortlieb Classic panniers provides the space for normal grocery shopping by e-bike. Two well stuffed carrier bags are no problem at all. They drop straight in. A note for your videos. Set the saddle at the proper height for efficient pedalling. Far too many review videos show ridiculously bent knees! Perhaps it's the lack of dropper posts make you feel unsafe? 🤨

I wanted an electric tandem as I couldn’t drag our old Dawes over the Derbyshire hills anymore, picked it up in 2019, liked the Moustache brand after that and picked up the single bikes, low mile bargains post Covid! Hoping to visit you this year on a trip to the Smoke!
The moustace chain cover. Scenario, chain comes off whist out and about, gets between frame and chain wheel. How on earth do you get it back on, without removing the pedal!

All mid drive ebike manufacturers should offer the option of a double sided chain guard on the front cog rather than a fully exposed chain cover.

We don't know as of yet! However, now Moustache have integrated belt-drive into both the J and the Lundi 20, we could well see this coming to market.
