I really enjoyed this season, though. Didn't see things falling apart as much or as quickly as they did.
Yea it's hard to get to love players before they leave. O linemen and D linemen and sometimes QBs if you can find a franchise one are the guys who stick around.

Wentz was playing so confidently, throwing lasers all over the field! Injuries clearly took their toll on him
You could see he started overthinking everything and crapping all over himself every time he made a bad throw. Huge mental block, and he never learned how to trust his arm after he bulked up. Sad really.

Was the game against the rams for me. Of course i didn't know Wentz wasnt coming back for the rest of the year but nobody could tell me we wasnt winning it all after beating goff and the rams that year.
So weird hearing them say “last time the eagles were 7 and 1 they went to the super bowl” and then bam we ended up in the super bowl
And won and got revenge
This was the game where the realization of "oh my god, we're going to go to the Super Bowl" hit me
I actually thought they had a good shot after the Carolina game, those were typical games that they would lose.

This was the game where Broncos fans were acting like Osweiler would just do what he did in 2015 and then reality hit them hard.

At the end of this game Wentz was leading in touchdowns and MVP frontrunner crazy how things can go south because of an injury

Wentz was unbelievable that year. Tds/int 33/7 got us to playoffs . Shame he got hurt but overall. what a year overall for this squad. Sb 52 champs . Never forget it. Crazy Not one person has said ANYTHING about demarius thomas. May he rest in peace. Outstanding talent/great reciever. Was So fun to watch , so sad.

As a Washington RedFoot Commie fan, I've been watching a good amount of Iggle and Dolt games with Wentz playing QB (the Good, Bad and Ugly of it all) and man, I'm hoping and praying that Washington can even get 70% of this version of Wentz. I do think Washington will have the o-line, receiving corps, defense , good running game/special teams and play calling to allow Wentz to get this deep throwing passes to the speedy WRs (Terry McLaurin, Curtis Samuel, Jahan Dotson, Dyami Brown all run about 4.35 on average 40 time) and Wentz is best when throwing deep and having a good running game and defense like he had with Phiily here in 2017. We shall see what happens soon enough!
Wentz was on the Colts last season. A team people think is terrible after Wentz left but let's not forget the Colts had the most Pro Bowlers and the most All-Pros previous season, and Wentz still couldn't last more than 1 season. He couldn't even beat lowly Jacksonville when he needed to the most. At this point, he is washed.

Wentz was the mvp this year and missing only 3 games shouldnt have affected that. If he missed the games in the beginning hed have won the mvp. But since it came in wk 14 he lost it to brady. While wentz clearly was the biggest reason they won the sb, he made them the hottest team and locked up everything by wk 14. They wouldnt have been there without the 1st seed, the bye, and home field though out. With foles a backup qb, he needed home field and that week to get ready for playoffs. Then he won Sb MVP. Its a shame bc wentz may have been this player without that series if events.
