I had a heart attack the day before this game. I was recovering in the ICU when this came on. I was afraid that I would have another heart attack (I'm a long time Eagle fanatic), so I kept watching something else, then coming back to the game. When it got out of hand, I watched the rest of the game. I felt much better.

I don't think that is true. There is no reason for the Eagles fans to hate Vikings fans. We were on the very same boat before our team won their very first Superbowl.
There was a lot of Eagles fans that felt disrespected because a bunch of Vikings fans went to the Art Museum and did a skoal chant and put Vikings garb on the Rocky statue and posted it on social media for the whole world to see. But the people who did those to our city got to watch their team get humiliated on national TV and we stole the skoal chant and turned into FOLES.

As an Eagles fan I was actually glad he didn't get it only because of the MVP curse. League MVP's team hasn't won the Super Bowl since '99 with Kurt Warner and The Rams.
Happy 3 year anniversary to the most surprising game I've ever watched. We all thought Foles would falter but omg did he show up.

I believed in Foles ever since 27 touchdowns and 2 INTs in 2013. The 4 TDs he threw against the giants in the freezing cold a few weeks before was all I needed to see to know he still had it.
When Rudolph scored that first touchdown … I really thought we were about to have it in for us. Thank God for Patrick Robinson setting the tone with that interception telling the Vikings that it was our house. 38-7. Go birds 🦅

Buck and Aikman are so good. After the turning point interception in the first quarter they let the moment to breathe, just allowing the sounds and scene to speak. Most analysts feel compelled to fill every space with words.

Still makes me laugh when I see how excited those Vikings fans got after their only TD. And then the devastating pain that sets in for the rest of the game. The weeks long whine fest afterward and winning it all in their house was icing on the cake.

Looking back at this game in hindsight , Doug and the eagles did what Jacksonville should have against the patriots, keep the foot on the pedal. That two minute drill before halftime was beautiful to watch

Everyone likes to talk about the Patrick Robinson pick six, and that was a great moment for sure, but the moment that really ended this game was the Derek Barnett/Chris Long fumble recovery on Keenum. The game was technically still competitive at that point, and then Foles followed it up with that insane bomb to Alshon Jeffery. THAT was the moment I knew something special was in the works.

Probably the most surreal football game of my life. Even after the first TD I was surpsingly calm. And then the Patrick Robinson TD happened and I just felt validated. The entire game after that was just a a very lucid dream that I still can't believe is real
2nd game where I had tears of joy knowing my team would end up winning the SuperBowl against the greatest dynasty in NFL history.

Been an Eagles fan since the early '80s and given the circumstances and what was at stake this is the best all-around game I have ever seen them play. I think most Birds fans would tell you that this was a shock to see them play so well in such a big game because we just don't see that.
I think they all cane together for wentz and foles but most definitely foles especially the footage from the superbowl cuz foles had no fear in either game
I was there that day and I remember the vikings fans behind us suddenly disappeared after 21-7 😂 This is the best football game I've ever been to and likely will ever be to. The energy in the stadium on that interception is indescribable

I’m a vikings fan and I have to say at least Vikings fan made the nfc champion ship another time and they haven’t since
I have lived in Philly for a combined 12 now years but MN born and always a Vikings fan. I went to this game wearing the purple and way too many of the Eagles fans were beyond awful. Some consolation since then: went to the rematch in October 2019 and people were fine. Plus the Vikings won that game and the next rematch in MN last year. Kirk Cousins doesn't do much but at least he's 6-3 against the Eagles so we've got that going for us.
So I guess youre very happy!! PS a rematch would in the playoffs. Did MN ever win vs Philly in the post season. I dont think they did.
