This will probably sound weird, but as an Eagles fan, this is my favorite game ever. I know the very next game they won the SB... but this game was winning the conference championship in style... how I want my team to win every big game... took the first punch from the other team and then just annihilated them... multiple big plays on O and D, ball control, blowout. No question who the better team was on that day. Of course, I was beyond thrilled that they won the SB, but that game was all nerves to the very last play, whereas this one was over in the 3rd quarter.

What's even crazy about this game is that it's two backup QBs. Minnesota had Teddy Bridgewater who had torn his ACL and had structural damage in his knee so he missed most of the 2016 and 2017 season so Case Keenum was QB while the Eagles had Carson Wentz go out in week 14 in which many say he never has recovered and Foles was QB for the post season.
I seriously hope the eagles 🦅 pull out a miracle and win the super bowl, they’re one of the best franchises in the NFL and they deserve a Lombardi.

I just did. Let me explain in detail as to why I want the Eagles to win. First of all, I could not care less who wins the Superbowl this year. It is pointless. However, if the Eagles win, there is ever the slightest chance that for the first time in the 15 years I have lived near Philly, that all the whining, excuse making, bitching, screaming, and hating might stop for a few months. Of course, let's be real here. The Eagles could win the next 5 Superbowls while going undefeated every year and still find something to complain about. So yes, I can hate the Eagles and hope they win all at the same time.
I am not sure why beating Tom Brady would be my only talking point. The Giants already have 4 Superbowl rings for their franchise. The Eagles, if they win, will have 1. I can always find a talking point as you call it.

I must've watched this and the Super Bowl a 1000 times already. I have been a die hard Eagles fan for 25 years. I know their are plenty of people that had to wait a hell of a lot longer than I had to but I'm so happy we finally did it and we beat the team that denied is the last time we were in the Super Bowl. You could literally make a movie out of out story. From the beginning of the season till the finish. Their is just something so special about this team. You could feel this was going to happen but were too afraid to say it or brag or boast, but inside I think we knew this was the year. Drew Brees is something else, he could light up the scoreboards on any given Sunday, even if they would have lost it would have been a very tight game. I stopped watching this game in the third quarter.

Well with the exception of the opening drive they played similar to the 2nd half against the Saints where they blew a 17 point lead. That certainly is no number one defense at least the last 2 weeks. The play calling really sucks big time too mainly on offense. I had a feeling that opening drive was not a good thing like an omen. I think Zimmer has trouble getting this team motivated or something. At least it's easier to swallow this loss to the 2010 loss where had Favre not tried to force a pass toward the end we would have won that game. This game the Vikings really stunk up the place.
