- we install 24/7 cctv on our self built campervan home on wheels. since this campervan is going to have a high value we feel its only right to protect that investment .
cctv is the way forward for us.
reolink camreas are what we chose for a number of reasons.
they had a wide array of differant camreas to suit any needs. we went for the bigger argus 3 ultra for the best video quality but there are smaller ones on there range.

A smaller pod type camera fitted to the door mirrors looking back along the van would be a good idea, perhaps fitted inside the mirror casing with the lens viewing through holes drilled through the mirror?

I like the idea of the camera's but they aren't the smallest in the world are they and not to put a damper on things, undo the little wing and they are gone or reach up and they are gone...
I'd like something a bit firmer fixed to the van or a bit more covert
Facing forward will get a lot of dead fly pics .

Great video, I love those cameras they look great on the van so far and I love the extras, you never have to risk getting hurt going out to people around your van you can just scare them off with the flash light and the alarm, DO you not have any warranty on your van ? I'm curious with the stuff you need to get fixed as to why it's not done through warranty, Any way Good luck with getting your van fixed mate 👍
you may need to over hang the top camera and face it directly down other wise people can stand behind the side cameras and steal them.
weird thing is im going thhrough the same thing but got told the EGR Valve but the Purge valve ....on my zafira tourer
I had similar issues! Took mine to the garage and the guy said,you’ve got gasses in your rear end!
My doctor said the same...
When u take the egr valve off which is easy there's a black plastic cover with 5 Allen keys take that cover off and there a black or cream plastic cog with worn teeth slide it off and replace but if ur water tanks pressurised it's a split hose or head gasket or cracked block
But realistically all someone has to do is flip the camera up and you do not have a camera covering the camera.
Hi. We love watching your interesting videos, we have subscribed. We are in Norfolk and are converting an ex sainsbury home delivery van Merc sprinter 314 cdi 2018 autobox 7 to a camper. Getting on OK. Hope your vw is running better now. I've always used shell vpower diesel and add liquid moly Mos2 lubricate to the engine oil, do u and have u. Highly recommend it. I'm definalty going to try that. My vans still very poorly. I was seeing signs that I was getting scammed so I took the van back and have it booked in Tuesday for a recommended specialist to have a look at it. Problem with the bank holiday is I have to wait haha
@@iNDI_VAN_A_JONES oh dear. Yes the liquid moly Mos2 lubricate is an oil additive. Excellent stuff. Even put it in my mower that's 31 yrs old. Germany first developed it during ww2 as their planes were shot up and lost oil pressure, the Mos2 coating prevented seizure and allowed them to land so the story goes. But is excellent. I can't see that your engine head gasket has gone as I get cream all the time in my vw golf mk4 but on my engine on the oil filler in goes from metal into a plastic box for the oil breather pipe which I've put down to condensation as my head gasket is fine
Loads of people have said egr valve and because I have a long neck on the oil fill it will condensate and gunk up. I'm taking it somewhere else on Monday
@@iNDI_VAN_A_JONES I'm still on the planning stage and just can't make my mind up on which size vw crafter van to get I went passed yours earlier and your van looks better in person mate are them windows easy to fit
Lwb is a pain. Parking is horrid and I can't fit down some of the lake district mountain passes because it's so big
@@iNDI_VAN_A_JONES I was thinking about either the LWB or the XLWB as the MWB is abit to small as I've been thinking about maybe making a garage at the back so I can fit a small car or smart car in the back or even a quad bike

How have you connected it up to WiFi? Through your mobile hotspot ?
I have similar cameras on my home but it’s very basic if you don’t subscribe and pay every three months 👎🏻
Get a new EGR and COOLER fitted, very unlikely its the headgasket.

CCTV is for paranoid people will actually make you paranoid park safe always leave space to move forward or backward when you park up make sure you can get to the front of the van to get out of any situation why have CCTV to view someone with a hood and mask. These videos just put people off wild camping does my head in! sorry!
