  • The Mastercraft Courser MXT is an extreme mud tire for aggressive off road performance while still maintaining highway handling and offering excellent mud tire styling. The large shoulder scallops scoop their way through mud easily. The alternating traction edges increase the number of biting edges and provide lateral grip. The wide shoulder grooves allow the Courser MXT to move soil, gravel and snow through quickly. The over-all rubber to void ratio is optimized allowing great handling and traction in all road conditions. The increased siping delivers great wet highway control, bite on snow, and off road traction. Even with the tread half worn, the sipes are still performing and meeting your driving expectations for the life of the tire. The aggressive side biter design provides additional traction and resists sidewall damage while offering great styling.
The Courser MXT is studdable, and has the M and S rating. Get all the performance and styling found in much higher priced mud tires in the Mastercraft Courser MXT .

I bought 5 of these in 31x10.5r15 for my 89 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. Great looking mud terrains i get compliments often 9n the tread pattern. Alot of mud terrains today look like hybrids. These have like thick lugs specially on the outside.
Ive only put 5k miles on them so i cant compliment on wear. Noise they were quiet but after rotoation they got a little noisy. I will say they are excellent in rain. My older tires were cooper rtx all terrains. And they were trash in the rain.. i slid everywhere making turns. Havent slipped once with these mxts. Snow they did great.. minor offroading i saw thick chunks of mud and grass slinging out... in ice they suck of course.. but most tires suck in ice.
I hope mastercraft will still be selling these when mine wear out. As id buy them again

Did they quiet back down after driving a little on the rotated tires? I am wanting these for my Jeep Wrangler TJ but I drive with the soft top most of the time and don't want it to be too loud
