@@E90m3superchargedGr this m3 has a built engine and 2 years worth of work to get it right where as mine is stock engine with a charger strapped to it and runs 700bhp safely. I’m not saying I would win but it would be interesting and all done purely for fun.

Btw you can recalibrate the average MPG gauge, but not by much, about 5% I think (at least with stock software and with ISTA).

Do the centrifugal superchargers rob some power down low until they're spinning fast enough? IE, do you lose some at low rpm to make it higher up?

Right, after 2, the 3rd would've been to sell and buy a 997 or a AMG. But these M3's are cheap because of how irrationally afraid of rod bearings people are.
It sounds like the previous engines didn't last cos the were stockish.... This ones built proper with forged internals.

His brakes would most likely fade long before he had temperature issues. Even stock e92 m3s brakes fade if driven hard. That being said lovely motor 👍

Alusil blocks are no straight forward design. Like he mentioned, you have to use a specific pad and a paste once bored out to expose the silicon within the alloy which is what makes the bores tough. I had the block in my M5 done twice because not that many engine builders know how it should be done correctly. I can totally see how this car has been a life killer to build! Epic build however!

So he's gone through 4 s65 engines with this supercharger setup does not seem worth it at all.

Those couplers are flexing quite a bit there. I’d look into getting that addressed.
This is why I avoided getting silicon pipes, I felt like they'd flex like this and eventually fail.

Battery weight saving is cool, how does is fair during winter or cold starts? Been contemplating for my ESS G1 setup
No issues with a anti gravity battery I got a few years back. Died die during winter when it wasn't started for months on end but won't ever die in any normal circumstances

He said on the video he was running apex arc 8 10j on the front and 10.5j on the back. So I suspect he is running 10x18 265 or 275 on the front and 10.5x18 with 285 or 295 on the rear most likely et25 front and back

How has the engine not blown up yet? Everyone I know that's boosted their S65 has seen a piston through the hood after 2 weeks.

There’s a gigantic community of boosted S65 owners who haven’t had that issue - this is being they’ve had their rod bearings and other preventative maintenance needs addressed. Plenty of FI M3s daily driven with zero issues.
Great car but i wouldn’t be that comfy running that much power on stock brakes
They’ve not overheated or faded yet… but hasn’t seen any track use since this setup. In the off-season I’ll replace with a full set of 5000r’s
In this instance I was forced to complete the powertrain, gearbox, and chassis components first with £30k+ unplanned investment - so funds restricted the rest of the necessary upgrades with brakes etc

My thoughts exactly even on a stock E92 on the streets brakes fade. If it was being drove hard he would've most definitely felt the need to upgrade the brakes by now.
Ou i was not now that if u change battery L-ion 20 kilo save is there possible tu change it with Duracell batt. It will save 559.99 kg i think but onli for BMW owners & if passenger seat ou main got after that car will fly at 0.5cm above the asphalt 😅😂 yes I'm serious that tells every BMW owner & they sing (i believe i can fly) like in famous cartoon movie

The original engine was destroyed by negligence, and its taken me two years and all my available cash to resolve. Coilovers and brakes were not a priority until now.
I've had a w204 and it's got nothing on bmw trust me I'm now a proud bmw owner won't ever Mercedes again
